There is so shockingly little art out there for this pairing that it makes me want to cry. Particularly considering how much I've come to like it.

Yes, this is only 2/3 of the entire picture, Maya is also there.
But yeah, with Maya being on the pic it's less yaoi-like. It's not yaoi in the first place, it's the scene at the end of 1-4.

But the editor implied this to be Phoenix/Edgeworth. The fact of if it is or isn't is irrelevant. This picture was probably implied for the Phoenix/Edgeworth fandom.
And honestly, if there was a picture with Phoenix, Maya, and Edgeworth, wouldn't you want to cut Edgeworth out to make it more Phoenix/Maya? Even if the scene wasn't exactly het.

I have a whole bunch (I mean 2000+) of PW/AJ images saved on my computer, and no, if it has Phoenix, Maya and Edgey, then I just name the file "Phoenix, Edgeworth and Maya (random number)" instead of cutting it and naming it "Phoenix and Maya (random number)".
Of course, that's me and every people is different.

To put it lightly. Would you mind if it were a picture of Trucy sitting on Phoenix's knee?
I don't see anything particularly "romantic" about that picture, but maybe that's just me.That being said, I tend to treat any Godot/Pearl sentiment with wariness.
