I just got what a vapid bitch Misty Fey is. Her abandonment is redeemed because of a photograph? BULL-DONKIES!

I thought she was a hobo with no money to her name....But she was a well to do Author?

What a fucking monster. What mother hears "Oh one of my Daughters has been murdered and the other was nearly accused of her guilt?-WHATEVER PARTY!". And then AGAIN "Almost Guilty and Sister tried to get her framed?-Grr where are those Chippendales I ordered? They were supposed to be here an hour ago!".

"In her heart because of a photograph", what lies. The second she saw her DAUGHTER she should have said "I AM NOT WORTHY AND AM A WASTE OF HUMAN SPACE!". And you know what else she could have said "Hey Pearly DON'T CHANNEL THE SERIAL KILLER PLEASE?".

:elise: Is a monster, or at the very least a awful, AWFUL mother.

i think Elise is one of the more sympathetic characters. She felt like she couldn't face Mia/Maya because she disgraced them. It's as simple as that

But yeah, it was incredibly stupid that Elise and Godot didn't do much to prevent the channeling

What about her village? She knows that by leaving, all her responsibilities are now thrown onto her daughters. She knows (or at least should know) the pain and grief caused by the dispute over the title of Master of Kurain. She should have known that by leaving, Morgan will do anything in her power to claim the title. On top of that, leaving in the face of slander would just confirm to the public that she was a failure. If she was a true leader, she would have stayed with her village, because **** it, She's. Their. Leader.

They were like 5 when she left them. Maya didn't even know what Disgraced MEANT.

She left because SHE was disgraced and couldn't handle not being perfect. And i'm sure all of the tabloids where about HER. Not about her Daughters. And good for her that she has 1 less daughter to face now anyway.

She was MEANT to be sympathetic, but is actually an terrible person.

I didn't notice the good part of Elise Deauxnims theme until now. I could swear I only heard the general "mystic" part of it while playing and thought it was rather boring. But listening to the whole theme it's actually good, very soothing. That seems to be the case with the long lost moms themes

Yeah. It's definitely a top 3 for me (and definitely my favorite song of the original trilogy)

I've been trying to advertise its greatness a lot on the forums. I'm going to choose to believe that I subconsciously got to you and convinced you to listen to it :edgey:

Spirit mediums keeps some of their characteristics features when channeling a spirit. I don't really mean just hair and clothes, it's just that the appearance of a medium and a channeled spirit "blends" in way.

That Global studios is a pun off of Universal Studios. I didn't notice this until Super Jeenius pointed this out in his let's play. And that Let's Play is Blind, meaning he caught it the first time he played the game! Way to make me feel stupid.

I just came to a harsh realization: In all 5 main games, the supposed "Main Character" is never actually the focus of the plot. In the first game the focus was more on Edgeworth than Phoenix, in the second game the focus was more on Maya and Pearl, in the third game the focus was more on Mia and Godot, in the fifth game the focus is more on Athena, and in the fourth game the focus is more on Phoenix, which is ironic, the only game in which he's really the main focus is the only game in which he isn't the "main character".

The first game focuses on Phoenix almost as much as Edgeworth. The second game is pretty much all Phoenix and Edgeworth is the focus of AAI2, though you said main games

I wouldn't say the whole first game is about Edgeworth, I mean, I don't feel like we're supposed to care for him until case 4, and from what I can remember the only acknowledging of their past is "I didn't expect to meet him this soon" in case 2, but that could just as well be taken for a throw-away-line at that point in the game. Phoenix is heavily involved in most of the cases and the main thing is basically his way to become a lawyer. The second game is more random - hence "Justice for all". The Fey history is pretty minor in that game compared to the first and third, apart from the second case. I'd say the theme there is that "What it means to be a lawyer" stuff, which again involves Phoenix, and Edgeworth is constantly nearby due to his mysterious abscence. It's not until the third that Phoenix is pushed back as far as I'm concerned, as it's mostly about all the Fey's. AJ is about Phoenix and Apollo is pushed back to absurdum, and DD is about Athena, even though Apollo has a vastly more significant role in the story than he had in AJ. ...In my opinion.

Each game also focuses on the main Prosecutor/rival quite a bit, the exception being AAI since Lang is (arguably) more important in GK2

Iris isn't good ether. She could have TOLD Phoenix about this crazy plan beforehand. Or did you forget she was in on the whole "revenge scheme" this genius thought up. :godot: Iris, was just as guilty. Even more so, considering she had no good reason to do what she did. You could argue it was for Phoenix. But that can easily be negated by the fact that she had the PERFECT CHANCE TO TELL HIM! And where the hell did she go after that case? Probably back up the mountain for some more spiritual training after realizing what an idiot she had to have been for going along with that idiotic plan!

I loved Apollo's character...it's just Phoenix was an overwhelming distraction in the 4th game. (It also didn't help that Gavin was WAY too helpful toward Apollo.) Luckily in the fifth one Apollo got to shine. Yeah sure people complained about Athena hijacking the game. But I think Phoenix did it much more in Apollo Justice and you don't see anyone complaining about him. In fact people love Hobo Phoenix! (It was like his sarcastic inner monologue dial was set to max then put into vocal mode. His target, Apollo. It was hilarious!) Besides, it's called Gyakugan Saiban in Japanese. Why worry about the main character when the original intention for the games where to twist your way of thinking into something weird and wacky.
