Ever since I watched Phoenix Wright Bullshit Evolved I always read Klavier's lines in a really over the top British accent and I always die laughing.
" If you wish to hang yourself, Mr. Wright, you're welcome to, but not inside my courtroom."

If I were picked to voice :payne: I would use a nasally voice, that voice you get when you plug your nose... As for :phoenix: I would use my normal voice. After all, you play as Phoenix! If I was voicing :edgeworth: I would use my normal voice with sort of a British accent. As for :maya: I would try to use my pretend girly voice which sounds kinda like Payne. For :sadshoe: I would use a tough sounding voice...

Matt's voice - a bit surferish with his "dude" talking.

Engarde's voice - low, threatening, but also sophisticated and can easily go into a psychopathic laughter.

unfortunately, I seem to have trouble voicing the Engarde part...

Spoiler: Ph33r teh spoilerz!
:sahwit: Kinda high-pitched voice, suckup-y is the best adjective?
:redd: Semi-British accent, especially whenever he pulls out some made-up smart-sounding word. "Splendiferous!"
:karma: Like his Objection. Heard Jabba's laugh in Return of the Jedi? It's kinda like that.
:gant: Kind old 19th-century style gentleman voice.
:beef: Smug and stuck-up
:engarde!: "Surfer dude" for his facade, "evil sophistication" for his true face.
:shelly: Britiiiiiiiiish
:dahlia: Soft and lilting for the facade, sharp and harsh for the real face.
:atmey-shock: "Sophisticated" and with a bad British accent.
:tigre: BROOKLYN RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!
:godot: / :javado: Very suave.
:kristoph: Calm, collected, aristocratic, etc. etc.
Tonate: Generic robot monotone.
L'Belle: Bombastic and dramatic, especially with his habit of emphasising every other word.
Means: Smart and "professor-like" for the facade, harsh, angry and yelling for the true form.
Phantom: ....whatever voice he's using at the moment. :ron:
Portsman: Stereotypical jock.
Meele: Ditzy and not-really-all-there until the mask comes off.
Lance: Pretentious rich boy.
Ernest: King Harkinian. "Miles, mah boi!"
Yew: Normal feminine voice, more professional as "Shih-na".
Alba: Generic feeble old man voice until he drops the facade, after that he's got a very deep and forceful voice, like an army commander.

Kristoph - a smooth voice, but with a sharp undertone. Pronounces every word very clearly. Not a strong German accident, but you can still hear it.

Dr. Crab - Low, both in volume and pitch. Gruff, and a bit mumbling-ish when he's stressed or irritated.

Matt - Quite light, and an itty bit nasal. He stretches his vowels a lot more when in his duuude-persona, and his 'real' voice is slightly more monotone.

Phoenix and Apollo: I give them both my regular voice, as they're the main protagonists.
Winston Payne: A high pitched, screechy voice, like his objection.
The Judge: A very deep, authoritative voice.
Miles Edgeworth: My own voice, with a slight British accent added.
Most female characters: A slightly higher pitched version of my normal voice.
Frank Sahwit: A slightly racist Chinese accent.
April May: Kinda hard to describe, basically the voice that Chuggaaconroy gives crazy Tracey in his Link's Awakening Let's Play.
Redd White: An enthusiastic voice, sorta like the voice of the Pianta announcer in the intro to Super Mario Sunshine.
Dee Vasquez: A russian accent. I don't know why, she just gives off a Russian vibe to me.
Marvin Grossberg: An impression of the King Of Town from Homestar Runner.
Sal Manella: An impression of Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons.
Dick Gumshoe: A Brooklyn accent.
Wendy Oldbag: A stereotypical old lady voice.
Cody Hackins: An Ash Ketchum impression.
Manfred Von Karma: A Dr. Claw impression.

Whenever I hear the character's voices I hear them in the way they sound.... but for others that didnt had a voice I picture their voice in they own way. Like Pearly her voice is sweet and innocent.

The Bellboy: A french accent. Simply because he uses a french word at least once.
Lotta Hart: A typical southern accent.
Dr. Hotti/Hickfield: A lower pitched, simpleton voice.
Yani Yogi: A stereotypical old man voice.
Jake Marshall: A John Wayne impression.
Damon Gant: An impression of Hades from Kid Icarus Uprising.
Richard Wellington: A stereotypical "Harvard" type voice.
Larry Butz: A Quagmire impression.
Ini/Mimi Miney: A stereotypical "valley girl" voice.
Franziska Von Karma and Klavier Gavin: A german accent, of course.
Maximillian Galactaca and Colias Palaeno: A stereotypical gay voice, with a bit of a sing song quality to it.
Trilo Quist: An impression of Billy O'Brian from You Don't Know Jack 2011.

I'm sure they've already been mentioned and I'll link later, but VGA has the perfect Phoenix, Maya, Gumshoe, Luke Atmey, Redd White, Ini Miney, Damon Gant, Moe, Jean Armstrong, Victor Kudo, and Juniper voices

My friend also voices Lotta Hart as if she's a sassy black woman, and it works surprisingly well

Phoenix and Maya's voices have changed to their PLvsPW voices in my head now. Nick's VA in particular sounded very genuine. I just wish he had a stronger "Objection" clip.

I don't like Maya's voice in that game. I can't put my finger on why, it just doesn't seem to fit her well in my opinion.

Phoenix: A light and boyish little voice.
Apollo: Well, no indoor voice. Loud, sometimes with a slight rasp, a shouty quality to it.
Maya: Rather deep and a bit hoarse. Cheerful.
Miles: Medium pitch, a trim, fancy and tidy accent. His voice is almost never too quiet or too loud.
Gumshoe: Loud, a bit husky, somewhat deep with a "sloppy" but quite charming accent.
Franziska: A bit high-pitched but not grating, rather loud with a slight rasp. Fancy accent, a bit like Miles'.
Manfred: A very fancy accent, deep and intimidating voice.
Klavier: Medium pitched, nasal, at least when he speaks (not really when he sings). A bit of a German accent, but it's exaggerated - he really can speak without any German accent whatsoever.
Kristoph: A very light German accent, you don't really hear it if you don't pay attention to it. Calm, soft voice, medium pitch. When in control he never raises his voice; he doesn't need to, people listen to him anyway. Emphasizes certain syllables in a quite unusual way. When a bit agitated his voice becomes breathy, sharper, when he loses control in any way... well, very, very loud. The true chords of steel, really.
Gant: Deep and booming.
Payne: It's high pitched, but when agitated it becomes overly so.
Godot: Deep and smooooth. Suave! He very seldom raises his voice, people tend to listen to him, but it can be rather strong. When agitated he talks a bit faster than he usually does - otherwise he talks slowly, but never in a drawling manner. A very, very light Brazilian Portugese accent.
Mia: Girlish and high-pitched.
Adrian: A rather deep, calm voice that becomes more high pitched when agitated. Sometimes it's a bit airy.
Ron: Either or - loud, shrieky, shrill and a bit grating, or too quiet, soft, airy and quite pleasant.
Dessie: Deep and quite loud.
Simon: Rather deep, often calm, but sometimes it gets fast and breathy. When he doesn't feel in control it gets "dry", cracks. An unusual accent.
Wellington: Drawling and a bit nasal, but when he's agitated it's fast, loud, a higher pitch.
Athena: Strong and high pitched.
Eldoon: A bit gruff, but surprisingly pleasant.
Palaeno: Very airy, humble, light. A pleasant voice.
Tigre: Booming. Very much so.
Calisto: Medium pitch, very strong, rather androgynous.
Maggey: A bit nasal and rather loud.
Cammy: Airy and rather high pitched.
Lotta: Strong, southern accent with a medium pitch.
Tenma: Deep and strong. When he "changes" it's hoarse and slightly more high pitched.
Dahlia: A very, very airy voice. A tad bit deep.
Iris: Softer and less deep than Dahlia's. She talks quietly.
Luke: Dramatic, "large ham".
Fulbright: Loud, cheerful, strong, a bit deep but not overly so.
Bikini: Ample.
Dr. Crab: Gruff with a medium pitch. Mumbles quite a lot.
Matt: Fresh like a spring breeze: airy, a tad bit drawling and a bit "sloppy" - and then, after the "change", a bit deeper than otherwise and menacing, a bit sneaky-sounding.
Juan: Some sort of Spanish accent, very pleasant, melodic, strong.
Trucy: Medium pitch, very strong.
Stickler: Airy and drrramatical.
Judge: Soft, a bit deep. Friendly.
Armstrong: Faux-French accent, dramatical.
Morgan: Very husky.
Ema: Quite husky. Monotone.
Lana: Also a bit monotone, a tad bit more high-pitched than her sister.
Angel: Ample and soothing.
Plum: Deep, often quiet but can get booming.
Olga: Sometimes very quiet and light, sometimes the exact opposite.
Larry: A medium pitch, but can get very shrill.
Grossberg: A deep, warm voice.
White: Flamboyant and loud.
Florent: Bombastic, dramatical. Not too deep. Often sounds like he's stifling a laugh.
Gimme a "P"! Gimme an "I"! Give me a "P" and an "E"! What's that spell?! Pipe!
