(Was, believe it or not, the first pairing I supported. I got into Ace Attorney thanks to my sister, and as I started playing the first game I started spoiling myself to other cases. My sister introduced me to this pairing...And I was hooked instantly.)

Maya/Franziska, Larry/Alita, Wocky/Pearl and Jean/Iris are four very unique and catchy pairings that offer all sorts of interesting scenarios, fan-arts, fan-fics, graphics, ect. The more I support it, the more fresh they feel. They stick in my mind a lot.
Miles/phoenix - It's easy to talk to the fans. =3

For me, the traits I like about it is how unique it is, like Chloe said. For me, it really opened my eyes up to how couples are NEVER perfect, and that everyone has their flaws. With this pairing, Pearl knows Wocky has flaws, but she loves him anyway because she seems like the type to love someone unconditionally, just like with Maya and Phoenix. Not to mention they would have adorable chemistry :3

, despite my general interpretation of Edgeworth as most likely asexual or gay, simply because everyone I know compares me so often to Edgey and Ema is exactly the kind of girl I'd want to date? (At least, she would be before her snackoos addiction in AJ nearly derailed her characterization...)
...I hate the idea of assigning pairings based on subjective wishes like that. I'm usually such a huge fan of respecting characters' most probable objectively-determined sexualities. I usually try to pair characters based on who they might actually find attractive and desirable, and what outcomes might be best for Ace Attorney's overarching narrative.
And yet I might have to break all those silly rules, just this once.

I love this pairing for a slightly real, slightly abstract reason. Ema is our (movie-)typical underdog science geek, who probably spends more than one night alone in her apartment, with a chick flick and a quart of ice cream to keep her company. Klavier, the attractive, glamorous star who just happens to be her boss. The notion of his taking a romantic interest in her, despite her attempts to ward him off, are practically movie material (and I'm a sucker for romantic comedy). The two of them together is almost like an esteem-boost, saying that no matter who you are, there's someone out there who can take everything you throw at them and still love you.
Plus, it's just too sweet. Some of the fanfics literally made me squee and grin like an idiot.x)

Gumshoe/Edgeworth: Gumshoe's loyalty toward Edgeworth, hands down. Best part of this pairing.
Klavier/Apollo: Klavier's attitude just makes this pairing. Also, so does a lot of the great fanart. XD
Phoenix/Kristoph: I don't run into it often so it usually isn't the first pair I'll admit to liking, but when I do find work of this, it's fascinating and well-done. :]
Phoenix/Edgeworth: There's sufficient evidence for it, and there's so much great fanwork of it.
Franziska/Kay: Yeah I ship this too, and I really like it because of GK-4.
