Personally I'm not even sure 2-4 should have worked on it's own.
I actually thought the fact that Engarde never killed the man himself was solid grounds not to charge him for murder but rather an accessory to murder or a lesser charge.

Still the jury would make a lot of cases a lot more simpler and some a lot harder. Like Acro's trial, I reckon his connection with the victim is probably enough to make some jury members sway against Phoenix just because it's such a touching story. Though for Engarde's case....yea he's guilty as hell....though maybe...just maybe...they'd sentence Adrian guilty the second she refused to testify because it was so suspicious so who knows maybe Engarde would've gotten away with it under the Jurist system.
