Well, there's a dancing club somewhat close to my home named 'Phoenix' :phoenix:
That's all I can think of currently.

BTW, the name 'Godot' comes from the play 'Waiting for Godot' even the game says so.
That means it's intentional.

Talking to my mom about a TV presenter (Richard Hammond) and she accidentally said 'Robert Hammond'.
Went to this place a few days later and it mentioned a 'Robert Hammond'.
One of the school computers said 'Atchung'. And the teacher misread someone's name as 'Christoph' (shame it wasn't Kristoph :sadshoe: ).
I know some people who live in 'Hawthorn Cottage'.

I passed along a Dahlia Street near where I live too, but I couldn't take a picture because I was in transit. xD

I don't know if this should belong here, but I found something lying around in my bathroom rack earlier today.

Spoiler: Alternate prosecutor's badge?

Figured it must've been a button from my pants or something, but yeah, I found it really amusing when I saw the pattern on it. Potential cosplay item, maybe? Even though it's not entirely accurate. xDD

I SWEAR I knew somebody with the last name Fey when I was little. Also the main character in a novel I started writing last year was named Mia and she had a little brother named Mikey. But Mia Clarke is nothing like Mia Fey.

Also if I ever see a cordyline stricta plant, I'm TOTALLY putting it in my room. Or at least taking a picture.

Oh I just remembered, on that show in Animal Planet: The Most Extreme. Sometimes there's this music that sounds sorta like the Cross examination theme from the first Phoenix Wright game. It's actually sorta what got me interested in the game in the first place... that, and mia fey... :hotti:

You're right, it does sound like the Cross Examination theme. xD Just curious though... how exactly did that get you into the game? Did you have a friend over that recognized the theme and introduced you to the wonderful world of Gyakuten Saiban?

I was at Target one time when a dad called out "Maya" to tell his daughter to come over to him... Yeah, those last two are lame, but that's all that I can think of kekeke XD

When I was driving once, I noticed a sign in front of a building that read "The Phoenix House." On the same stretch of road was a "Wright's" dentist office. I just about had a fangirl attack...

hey that does sound like the cross examination music! I had a similar experience. I was watching the move "Center Stage" and some music in it sounded a lot like the cornered theme to me. It was played more than once in the movie but i cant find it. on youtube. It was quite nice music though

Speaking of professors... I had Wright as a professor some time ago. It was a woman, but every time I went into her class I always wonder if she'd bang her hand on the table or point at us or shout. She never did it though, sadly. xD

Yay! i got a new one!
I was looking through Microsoft Encarta and I made a pleasent discovery.

Spoiler:
Quote:
Maria Edgeworth wrote two collections of similar short stories for children, The Parent’s Assistant (1796) and Moral Tales (1801), which were extremely popular in Britain and widely copied in the United States.

Maybe Edgeworths Great-Great Grandma or somthing?

EDIT: I was reading further into the article and came across Nathanial Hawthorne and also a book named "The Phoenix and the Carpet." I stretch this a little too far..but they remind me of GS!

I was talking with my mum and I happened to glance over at the TV, where there was a news story about a baby who died in a hospital before anyone knew it was born. The hospital's lawyer was talking, and his name was John Hammond.

Um. Anyway. My trig teacher's name is Maya. She kind of scares me though. Yikes, math. Um, what else... Uh... oh, I guess that's it. Damn, I really wanted to find a character with a name similar to one of my friends' names. No such luck. :sadshoe:

Little backstory: I was teaching my fourth graders about the pottery wheel, and I gently explained to them that they would have to throw away their attempts at pots, because this is just practice and we don't have much clay.

One little girl stood up, dramatically pointed her finger in my face, and very levelly said, "I object! It's preposterous to throw away our art!"

She has no idea that she made my day.
