I don't compare them as much as I cast them in the roles of the characters
It actually really helps when I'm trying to visualize what's happening in the novel, because sometimes it hard to imagine what the characters look like. Plus, sticking a few Larrys and Gumshoes into a story is way too much fun...I read 'A Picture of Dorian Gray' a while ago, and substituted every character for a Phoenix Wright character. It made an already great book so much better
Phoenix is an androgynous name, btw.

Naw, you can't play as PW characters. There are only two, and the Capcom team is primarily composed of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, since it came out in the late 90s-early 2000's.
