In 2-2, the malpractice at the hospital happened on my birthday. I was NOT happy about that.

Also, I didn't notice Luke Atmey, until my friend said "Hey, *my name here*, look at me!" I was like "WHERE??"
Then, it clicked. :phoenix:

I didn't know that "Fey" had to do with all things spiritual until I looked it up.

Quick question. Is Damon Gant's name a pun???? And what about the von Karma's???

Did anyone notice in 1-5, that Edgeworth showed Phoenix a flyer For Tres Bien, saing a new french restauraunt was opening up?

Also, IIRC, the chief detective mentions the Nickel samurai in 1-5.

If Gant's is a pun I have yet to notice it. von Karma isn't so much a pun as it is just a reference to the whole "you get what you give" routine, rather befittingly I think.

At first, I had no idea why the heck there were two ladders at the bottom of the browser. Then I realized, "Hey! One of them is a stepladder!" and I got it...

The only two name puns that I got on my first play were Sawhit (because Phoenix totally made it obvious) and Sal Manella. I didn't even get Larry Butz and Cindy Stone, or understand why Mia kept calling him Harry. God, I'm slow sometimes.

Yes, I completely thought Pearl was the killer. In the lobby, Phoenix said that the killer would have had to have known about the plan (Pearl may have either just realized it, or she could have witnessed Maya being attacked.) Phoenix also said that, since the bridge burned down, the killer would have become trapped on that side (Just like Pearl.) Then afterwards, Dahlia wrote Maya's name down, and Godot cleaned up the snow. It just all fit together.

I believe that in German 'von' means of/from and as karma is...karma it means Of/From Karma. Franziska means Free and thus Franziska von Karma is "free from karma" or in a sense free from her father (I guess.) I forgot Manfred's pun. I think Manfred was the Red Baron's real name. Also Manfred is derived from the German elements for strength and peace so strength/peace of/from karma? Just puttin' that one out there.

I didn't notice BenTricloQuist, AcroBat, WillPowers, Engarde(I hadn't recognised it until Peral pointed it out. To this day I still pronounce it En-Gar-Day), and this isn't exactly a pun but Wendy Oldbag soulds kinda like Windy Oldbag in the sense that she can and will talk a lot. And lie a lot. It took me a few seconds to notice Penny's pun, Gumshoe's pun, the anagram names...am I missing any? >>

Oh, timeline wise my friend and I found Manny going on vacation and the next year Klavier being born a bit suspicious...then again that's not too obvious. Oh! Rivales family...that sounds like Rivals, doesn't it? ^^

Did anybody notice that in "Rise from the Ashes" Gumshoe says something that is related to "Farewell, my Turnabout"?

When you examine the stuff between the lockers (the metall detector for example) in the evidence room. Gumshoe will note the Frequency detector and states that "It will be very important in another case" (I don't remember the exact words). :eh?:

Spoiler: AJ case 4
When Klavier explains the jurist system to Kristoph, and the older brother wants them out of the courtroom, and the game cuts to the usual "wide shot" (with the whole court)... then suddenly, Apollo, Trucy and Klavier look to the screen, in a borderline 4th wall breaking moment. The first time I noticed it, it freaked me out a bit.

Yes, but it was implied that YOU are one of the jurists, so basically they were looking at you. Like, the DS is the camera, and you (as a jurist) are looking at the DS as if you are looking at actual footage of the courtroom.

I think he said something along the lines of "I'm sure it will be important in a future case," not a definitive "It will be important in a future case."

I did'nt get all these names thing, too.
I just realized Luke Atmeys name while talking to a friend about case 3-2. I said Lukes name a few times and then I was just like: "Hold on! Luke Atmey... Look at me, damn how stupid I am!"

Oh, I looked up Winston Payne. It means "Winced in Pain". I would never ever had notice that! :payne:
And I still don't get Larry Butz. I know he is named Larry because you can mistake it with Harry. But who's Harry Butz? :yuusaku:

I'm really slow, so I didn't notice it was Dahlia, not Delilah. Also, I didn't notice Luke Atmey, Winston Payne, Jack Hammer, and Will Powers until I said them out loud. And I didn't notice that Spark Brushel is named that because he likes tooth brushes.

My friend makes fun of me for this because she got all of those puns right away. On the other hand, I make fun of her because she played 1-3 three times and still doesn't know who Penny Nichols is! Not even after I described who she is and what she looks like!
