My favourite prosecutor yet is Miles Egdeworth, mainly because he presents the most character development (at least, throughout the course of the first two games), while being cool and collected (not only in the courtroom) most of the time. What makes him not the 'perfect' one is his 'emo-ish' part, which is somewhat forced in my opinion.

Manfred von Karma would take the first place, if only he could have lasted more than one case - he may be evil as a person, but proves formidable enemy for Phoenix. He also retains a little of his diginity when finally defeated (apart from the infamous headbang) - "Put an end to this miserable farce" is a proof for the fact that he knew when to ultimately quit.

Payne is just a classic 'tutorial-ish' prosecutor, and has little to do apart from showing how not to do prosecutor's job... and that voice of his is really annoying.

Franziska is way to exaggerated as for me, with her 'foolishly foolish' insult pattern and whipping everything that moves.
Do not come between the Nazgul and his witness...

:karma: . Hes the only competant prosecutor in the game! He gets your client declared guilty, for christs sake! ...well, then hurricane larry strikes, but nobody can deal with him. None of the other prosecutors come close...(havent played T&T or AJ)

Franziska just screams at whips people alot—she is actually a rather pitiful prosecutor.
Edgeworth, is...effective in 2-4, but that it. Payne is the only realistic one, Hes the only frickin prosecutor you go up against in the phoenix arc that dosent have a PERFECT TRIAL RECORD. Seriously, it would be very difficult to never, ever lose a case.

:karma: One Scream of that OBJECTION and you know you've got your hands full. A Scream of that Objection on Every Single Hold it and you've already lost. A deep character and really made you think when you were taking him on in court. I'm a bit tied on his appearance in one case, on the one hand, that's less awesome to spread around. On the other hand, there's a chance he could become overused... Best to have that one 'Perfect' performance eh?

:jake: Yar, I know it's the wrong emote, but I can't help but think that if Neil were to object that he'd be firing a pistol with a flag saying 'Objection' on it. He looks like the Odoroki of the Prosecutor's world.

:edgeworth: In my mind, for what I've played, Edgeworth is the perfect rival. He doesn't have final boss status like Von Karma, but, he's the sort of character that makes the travel worth your while. Besides, his cravat and issues with names is awesome.

:hair-flip: What's a PW game without Payne? It's an abomination!

:rock'n: PSI ROCK'N! He looks like a character. I'll have to play him and Godot to get a feel for them.

:godot: Zombie Coffee Addict with Laser Eyes! Now if they could just teach him how to prosecute.

:franny: As a character she's not bad, she's got a few good lines and is a wonder with that whip. Too bad she's a horrid prosecutor. She didn't have any worth while development in GS2, and a victory over her was not very rewarding. There are a few ways they could've played her, but 'Foolishly Foolish Fool from a Land of Fool hearted Fools' when used as a serious rebuttal didn't make me laugh as much as I had hoped.

:lana: Lana-mon! Attack with the Muffler of Justice!
