Today my friend, who is also a GS fan, told me about this book. The main character's name is Matt.
He met a girl with a long, white dress, and a white parasol. :that-b-word:

I sort of want to read this book now. xDD

Also, Dahlia x Matt is my secret OTP... *shot*

Today, my school's library got new books.

One of them is called Larry and the Meaning of Life.

If I weren't in the library, I would have laughed my head off.

I'm beginning to wonder if the creators have read Ibsen's A Doll's House. The translation I read has at least one scene where a character yells, "Take That!" while hitting someone with an item (pair of silk stockings).

There is also a lawyer who only takes cases that are not morally objecitonable (and therefore has little money to show for it).

Another lawyer's reputation was ruined because they commited a forgery.

One of the lawyers gets upset at how the other on calls him in familiar terms (his first name rather than his title or sir since he is above this person at work).

Of course, the play is more about the domestic drama of the house rather than anything workplace. Also, both lawyers are not working at the bank, so they aren't really practicing law anymore.

Lunaria - we read part of that in danish class at my school last year. But we read the original danish version, so I guess it would be a little different xD

My friend and I found Edgey's suit in a secondhand store last monday o.o it was the EXACT same color and the design of the suit was pretty close to his too. It didn't have the ruffles though. But it made us wonder: If Edgeys suit is in a secondhand store... What's he wearing now? xD

That's awesome, Ninja. My guess is that some of the words would be translated differently from Danish to English. There are literal translations, and then there are the ones that have been cleaned up to sound more like native English.

I forgot that there is a point in the story when the wife (Nora) asks someone to stop "cross examining" her.

I just realized the extent of this coincidence today. It took me long enough to catch on, but...whoa. Story time!

...Some time ago, I got dismissed from the field of work I trained for at college after changing my academic course. Granted, it wasn't law (my cousin is studying to be a lawyer...) but still... Anyway, hounded by creditors and desperate for work, I eventually found employment at a Russian-owned restaurant (it's an Italian place, but the owners are Russian immigrants)--I work there even now, to keep my creditors at bay while I pursue another project which holds great personal importance for me. One of my coworkers there bore the name Olga, I have played a few rounds of poker there--most of which I've won--and the primary tool of my trade there as assistant manager/head cashier is a computer program named...Phoenix. Freaky, dah? :hobohodo:

Yesterday, my friend told me she found an article about flowers in a magazine, read it and was terrified. See, it wasn't just about flowers, it was about dahlias. She saved it for me XD

And just now, I was listening to the radio when I heard a commercial for something. Apparently you send a text message with a code to some phone number and you have a chance of winning money. So just for fun, I waited to hear what the code was. The woman speaking said "blah blah and send a text message with the code "DL6" to number blah blah".

It's funny to read that there are flowers named "dahlias". Really weird of a coincidence. I also know of flowers named "irises".

And I have 2 irises in my eyes. Freaky, huh?

In the Tanforan mall at/near San Francisco, there's a clothing store called Justice! Just For Girls.

I immediately thought, "Female lawyers for the win!" Franziska and Mia came to mind vividly. My mom asked me what I was looking at, because I was apparently "acting weird." :garyuu:
