I think they're kind of equal, to be honest. Allegro '04 is the only one I don't really like. Not sure why.

but the Percieve theme is very addictive I was listening it to it looped for a while..
I like AJ's playfulness of the testimony theme but I have to say the original..it suits it well..
I really could'nt get why JFA's and T&T's sounded like that..I really dislike sad sounding songs for examination..but after some playthrus I can forgive T&T's it sounds like a cross examination to some extent..

They perfectly fit to the atmosphere of the last case of the games.
I'm not a music expert, so I don't know how good I'll explain it, but...
JFA's allegro is really intense and desperate, like "You have to go on, can't stop or turn back!"
And TaT's one (with its notes going higher and higher in each line) sounds epic and has a supernatural feeling.
It's the same with AJ's one, it's dark, and with its notes getting deeper and deeper (with more and more echo), it gives the atmosphere of uncovering a dark secret long buried and forgotten.
Does it make sense what I say? :P

I really really have to disagree on JFA's it's really sad sounding but i must concede the backing track gives the sense of progression but it's still definitely sad sounding....but then again we're all entitled to our own opinions right?
JFA's cross examination music still irks me tho'
For T&T gives you that sense of paranoia & edge if you follow what I mean..similar to what you said..but it does sound rather tragic especially if you listen to it nearer to the end of the loop..
I must admit on first impression, I thought it sounded sad as well especially after being thru T&T and JFA but then I saw it in a new light..
AJ's one is what I call thinking music cos' it makes you feel like you have to approach the case from all angles with its playfulness of melody while giving that sense of caution of not to rush it..I think the tone of expression is what clinches it for me here
The thing is while T&T gives you that feel of examining someone for contradictions..It does not have the whole package the original does..Here's what I mean..AA while the tune is simple it gives you the feeling of someone laying the situation for you or testifying and has the feel of examining someone closely to scrutinise the tiniest contradiction...and that my friend is why it makes it to the top of many, many people's list..
Thus my ranking is the same as bad player just add much more >>>>>>>> between T&T and JFA..

Just hearing the extreme-tempo beat of PW's Allegro, combined with the tense look of a witness on the edge, is really what makes the mood of the game for me. This is the moment when the guy who thought he was just going to make a few statements and leave...is now about to be prosecuted for murder himself. Cornered 2001 complements this very well, as a way of pushing this intensity over the edge.
(perfect example: 9:20)

I love T&T's allegro, specifically the part that starts at 0:44. I also love the GK2 Presto. It really emphasizes the feeling of, "Final Testimony" and it's probably my second or third favorite AA theme of all time
