I've a question (as always...): does anyone know Phoenix's date of birth? I cannot find it. Maybe it isn't important...
And what about the other characters? Do you know something?

I don't believe there are more than a handful of characters with actual, documented birthdays in this series. There's a birthday section at the bottom of the Timeline page on the main site, but that can only give you a close estimate at best. Oh, and it aparrently doesn't work for Edgeworth.

The writers have no concept of time in PW world, and therefore none of the characters have official birthdays. The staff themselves can't even agree (I think Takumi said Phoenix is born in the spring, while Suekane said September...)

It's because each game is "a year apart" so they just added an extra year to anyone's age who reappeared, without any regard for the dates of the cases. I think GS4 messes it up even worse since it runs from spring to fall, rather than fall to spring like all the other games.

So basically, it's whatever you want it to be.

Either that or at the start of every game, everyone is together and they suddenly realize, "Hey! Another year has passed hasn't it?", and change their ages accordingly.
