Mine are:
:phoenix: / :maya:
 / :sassy:
:eh?: / :sparkly-maggey:
ApolloXJuniper
AthenaXBlackquill

I don't get much into pairings but these are probably my favorites. I strongly think Phoenix X Maya is the best one in my opinion, specially after seeing some events in Layton vs. Wright that demonstrate his devotion for her.

After PL vs AA, I guess I would ship Espella and Phoenix. Maybe it's one sided on Espella's part, she really admires him. Maya and Phoenix could work too, because of Phoenix's sad state after what happened (not going to spoil the story). But they always seemed to be best friends instead of a couple. No offense intended to the PhoenixxMaya shippers

:phoenix: / :edgeworth: - Done to death, I know, but it reminds me of a relationship I am (...was? it's complicated) in IRL. Also, I have an incredibly naive, innocent childhood friend whom I got into Ace Attorney, and this is baby's first ship, even though I had literally never brought it up beforehand. She just started shipping in on her own. So proud.

:javado: / :mia: - Hooray canon.

Godot/Blackquill - I never thought of this one until I saw it on tumblr. It's actually... really great.

:franny: -> :godot: - Mostly off of personality types here, but I find that women like Franziska typically fall for men who don't put up with their crap. It wouldn't work out in the long run, obviously, especially considering Godot wouldn't reciprocate.

Franziska/Shi-long Lang - Hey. It could happen.

:franny: / :klavier: - It started as a joke about Klavier's improper pronunciation of "Achtung" during a DD cutscene and ended up with me writing a fanfic about their children. Don't judge me.

Matt Engarde/Juan Corrida - Because I kept thinking during 2-4, "Why can't they just have hatesex like normal people?"

:snackood: / :yummy: - Why is it so hard to find fanart for this pairing...?

:kristoph: / :dahlia: - ...I can't really explain this one.

:gumshoe: / :maggey: - How did I forget this one?

I used to have a ton of ships but after my recent replay, I feel like Klavier/Ema is the only one I can definitely say I still support. Going through again, I was trying to figure out why I shipped those things because it made no sense. I think fourteen year old me just wanted everyone to have a happy ending regardless of chemistry.

Eh in some of the dialogue after said event I think it's debatable on what Wright's true feelings for Maya were if it was that of best friends or deep down lovers. I will admit thought WrightxEspella would be cute but eh idk.

I couldn't agree more with you two. Phoenix/Maya is my jam 4eva! We also need to see these two in action in AA6. They already teased Maya's return in Dual Destinies' ending, and Pearls has been doing some cleanup around Nick's apartment. So it's only necessary by this point.

So besides the magic that is Narumayo...

Odaka: My second favorite crack pairing! I don't even know how I fell for this pairing in the first place (though probably because I'm writing fanfics on it), but I know that these two would have a lot of great chemistry together! (Pun sort of intended)

I personally don't think there's anything that would make Franziska attracted to Godot. Aside from him acting irrationally, motivated solely by self-pity and being a failure as a prosecutor, we already saw on 3-4 how he cannot respect her personality and values at all because she has a vagina. And she wouldn't tolerate that.

Ugh, seconded. I would be extremely un-attracted to Godot if I was Franziska. And this comes from someone who is... well... very attracted to Godot. :ron:

I doubt she meant that. What I see here is; he was pretty much a sexist jerk to Franziska - well, he nearly always is one, but he was really über-ultra sexist towards her, and at least she doesn't strike me as someone who would put up with that.

Well of course she wouldn't be. No self-respecting woman would put up with that. But I'm not sure what he said to her was sexism, really. I kinda thought it was a combination of wanting her out of the way so he could properly face Phoenix and trying to hide his sorrow and regret for
Spoiler:
having to kill Misty.
And maybe...just maybe... it was also because Franziska reminded him a little too much of Dahlia? :ron: Of course none of that is an excuse for what he said to her, nope.

I mostly thought about the case where Mia is aided by him and his attitude towards her there. Not to mention all the "kitten"s thrown around.

And as for Franziska, what stood out to me there is how he said "I can't stand women like you" instead of "I can't stand people like you". I guess you could argue that it doesn't necessarily have to mean anything, but on the other hand every line of dialogue in a game is there for a reason, because the writers chose to include it.

Exactly.
According to his words, Godot doesn't dislike Franziska because of her attitude, he dislikes her because it's inconceivable for him that a woman can be like her. Or the fact that she is a woman is at least an extra reason for him to dislike her.

Look, Godot proved himself to be a sexist prick several times, there is no denying it.

Either that, or he simply thinks Franziska's behavior is unbecoming of a woman. This is Franziska we're talking about here, after all.

Quite simply, it would look bad enough for a man to behave like Franziska, but for a woman to do so just looks wrong.

Is it sexist to expect women to behave more nicely than men? Maybe, but it's certainly less so than having no regard for someone opinions and values based on their reproductive organs being located inside their body instead of outside.

Aside from that, I don't recall Godot acting that way toward any woman other than Franziska.

...alright. I can't grasp why it would be more "wrong" for a woman to behave that way but... Well. That's your opinion. I have a lot of things to say about Godot's sexism, but I'm too tired to be verbal and everything has already been said earlier on, so... yeah.

Finished GS5 and as soon as I completed 5-2 I realized how ridiculously perfect Wocky/Jinxie would be :thena-hair: . I'm calling it Woxie.

Also, I know how much I've posted in the Miego thread in the past...BUT...recently I have started to think twice about the pairing. I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore. I mean, I've changed a lot since it first became my OTP like 4 years ago, lol. It's not my OTP anymore though.

I'm still shipping Apollo/Ema. Though I've always shipped them more jokingly than anything, I think it's more of brotp for me. I am really warming up to Apollo/Juniper. I definitely don't ship Apollo/Athena, but I think their friendship is pretty solid.

Spoiler: Athena/Simon
I'm conflicted. I think they could work romantically but at the same time it feels too much like a platonic brother/sister kind of relationship. And if there's one thing I hate, it's when people ship two characters with a brother/sister relationship just because they aren't related by blood. It's fine if people ship those kinds of relationships romantically, but it's just a pet peeve of mine due to the fandom of a manga I love.

Maybe if the two of them return in GS6 and we see more of their relationship as adults, I'll change my mind. :hobohodo:

I'm fairly vanilla when it comes to my favourite relationships in any fandom. I have only really created fanwork for :phoenix: x :maya: although I'm fine with a couple of others. I'd say they are the only ship I actively enjoy seeing them interact as a pair. It's really the only not officially canon ships I've ever liked.
