Since some games (like Trauma Center) Have sequels for the Wii, why not Phoenix Wright? :udgy:
I'm now also thinking of Cooking Mama. By the way no-one needs to point out that Second Opinion was a remake I KNOW ALREADY! :chinami:

Eh?
Well for one thing, Trauma Center makes great use of the DS and Wii features.
The Ace Attorney makes great use of the DS features but would it really work out on the Wii?

Well, the Wii could do all the stuff the DS version does apart from shouting objection (I don't think many people do that anyways, and you could always shout it for the fun of it) and blowing the fingerprint powder off.

The added pros though are the graphics. Remember those trailers with the high res animated images, or that promo movie when everyone discoveres Edgeworth has a pink GBA? The game would look like that.

Plus the fact that it could include more data improves the chances of:
1. More cases.
2. Downloadable extra cases? >.>
3. Longer cases.
4. Voice acting maybe?
5. 3D scenery to explore?

Really, I see no reason why any game for the DS can't have a good port to the Wii (I say good, not perfect).
Props to Clicky for the avatar! =3

You could rotate the Nunchuk to rotated evidence and then select with the Wiimote.

I think there could be voice-acted cutscenes.

A 3D view of stuff to look at (locations whatever) would be great!

Like Eledees you know? Lift objects and stuff to find proofs etc...

Maybe to shout out an Objection, instead of shouting on DS, maybe press a button as pointing at TV with the Wiimote (or whatever it is called in english >_<)?

Instead of instantly moving from one place to another, you should be able to walk and look around freely (like Hotel Dusk Kyle Hyde)

Yeah I know, I'm a prick. Godot I say things. But I wouldn't be a fan of the free movement. Hotel Dusk irritated me when I roamed the corridors for ever without a clue of what to do.

Phoenix Wright will always be a niche game, so allow me to dash your hopes on the rocks by explaining that developing for the Wii would be more expensive than developing for the DS, especially if it's to have all these amazing new features like OMG 50 BILLION CASES ALL WITH FULL VOICE ACTING. This expense would not be something Capcom is willing to go for, also I think that the format of the game lends itself more to a handheld console than a home console.

It's not going to happen, end of story.

I just hope that'll happen.

As an exchange for shouting objection, maybe we can point at the screen using a Nunchuk.. and.. OBJECTION! Don't know... maybe.

hmm, In court, you could point phoenix's/mia's/odoroki's etcs fingers in court using the wiimote,
it would also be good for using luminol testing spray (use the wiimote like a can)
you get the idea...

Agreed. It's fun to discuss, even if it won't happen. They could take the forensics from 1-5 and really run with them; with luminol spray, checking for fingerprints and... they could potentially add in all kinds of fancy crime scene things that I don't know about because I don't watch CSI. It's exciting :D

And the pointing with the Wiimote idea is awesome. One can only wonder how many TVs would get completely smashed in my overzealous objectors (probably myself included).

It should have the option to use the Wiimote and Nunchuk as fists and to beat up the Prosecution if you lose.

I don't think there's any hope for PW being on the Wii, really. =\

Also, I haven't seen any Wii's individually sold, just bundle packs that include Twilight Princess, and other good games. And it costs about... 500-600 bucks...

GS5- because you get to use the minuki effect! With GS1-3, touch screen use is limited. HOWEVER! Case 5 was great- maybe... Maya could turn science? Or, maybe bring back Ema? (Young Ema- not creepy old Ema)
