Spoiler: 2-2, 2-3, 2-4
Well, the remenisciense of 2-2 is perhaps my favorite track from the series as of yet (excluding GS3's cornered) and Ini's story is just so sad that that case has always been a favorite of mine. I know shes not a real person and all, but just...when you see how much her situation sucked, you really just hafta feel bad for her. Then in 2-3, when during acros confession, when he tells you about how he couldnt just "up and leave", that was memorable too. Then in 2-4, when Maya fist gets kidnapped, I was cussing at the screen and then when you finally met the "real" matt, I was like "omgthisispurewinyoubastard"...it was amazing.

I almost cried when
Spoiler:
Edgeworth "came back" in 2-4. He was my favourite character, I hated von Karma as a prosecutor (at least compared to Edgeworth) and that music... great.

The touching Maya scenes made me emotional I must admit.

It was the note in 2-4 that did it for me...

Let's see...
I shed a tear when Mia died. (She was my favorite character at the time.)
I cried a little because of the DL-6 Incident. The theme song really got to me too.
I choked up some tears when Maya left (I was in fornt of my friends too. GAAAAH!)
I was bawling for Edgeworth in "Rise of the Ashes" I felt so bad for him. (I actually hated that dude at first because I thought he was the biggest prick in "Turnabout Sisters")

Spoiler: GS3
I bawl almost every time I hear Phoenix's Final Objection

Spoiler: GS4
I could'nt stop crying when I read about Phoenix getting his badge stripped from him. It wasn't even his fault.

Turnabout Sister's theme in JFA always pulls a few heart strings.

If only because it reminds me of something.
I have nothing remotely interesting to go here as of yet.

Well, for myself, there had been a few moments where I had caught myself speechless, Devasque and the Fence Post, Mia's Sudden Demise (Oh why couldn't she stay dead), Pearl and the Train, Adrian in general...

But I hadn't actually got myself to cry... except for one moment in particular... and well...

Spoiler: GS1
Feeding Missile all those Gourd Dogs. It was so out of the blue and unexpected. I laughed to tears and nearly wet myself.

Ah, Good times.

Naturally, I'm not a very emotional person and I've been described as uptight before, so maybe I'm going to sound a bit weird saying this, but I haven't really ever cried, but I've gotten damn close to.

For me, case 1-4 was a huge shift in mood, from happy and triumphant to sad, somber, and depressing. But the shift in mood is what makes it still my favorite case in the series thus far. As Croik said at a time, DL-6 leaves more of an impact upon you because it mostly involves characters you already know, as opposed to SL-9 which thrusts many new character unto you. My point being, as a whole, Case 1-4 was really emotional, and I felt myself closer to tears than ever before in any video game. And I've played many video games in my life.

Case 2-4 struck the same emotional chord, but also a different one in the same sense. It had the depressing ring to it, but it also had this feeling of futile-ness. Futile, as in it felt what you were trying to do was impossible, everything was against you, and even though you struggled through the hardest challenge of all, everything could be lost if you make even one mistake.
Spoiler:
Maya's whole situation was also rather emotional, and I was close to tears by time Franziska boarded the plane, and showed the fourth piece of evidence. It was then that I re-affirmed my previous statement I had said after beating the first game, "This series is truly one of the best I've ever played"

Spoiler:
Acro's confession pulled a few strings. I was moved.

I don't think I've ever actually cried while playing, but I got pretty emotional during:

1-4: Manfred's whole "plot" touched a really raw nerve.
Spoiler:
I couldn't believe he'd 1) use Edgeworth the way he did and 2) turn around and try to get him convicted of murder, all in the name of revenge.

And... I'm ashamed to admit I was getting this weird "The Lion King" vibe from that case, and that's the only Disney movie I've ever come close to crying in.

1-5:
Spoiler:
Lana explaining that she did everything she did to save her sister got to me. I'm the oldest of my siblings, so protecting the younger sister is a role I'm somewhat familiar with. Granted, not nearly to that extent, but still....

2-2: When Nick first visits Maya after she's been arrested, and she keeps babbling on about how she should be convicted, and Nick loses it and snaps at her, and she looks back at him with that blasted teary-eyed sprite and begs him to help her, I felt so bad for her (and Nick, who was trying his damnedest to calm her down).

2-4 (1): I love the (faux paternal) relationship Nick has with Pearl, so watching him take care of her while Maya was gone was... bittersweet, to say the least.

2-4 (2):
Spoiler: In the courtroom....
Seeing Nick and Edgeworth cooperate and use each other to buy time for Maya is one of the best parts of the entire game, IMO. I'd been waiting for that moment ever since I finished AA, and watching it unfold before my eyes was unbelievably satisfying. Combined with Edgeworth's "trust" speech at the end, that made the game for me.

2-4 (3): The end of the entire game, at the airport, admittingly had me tearing up. My favorite relationship in the entire game is the sibling-ish bond between Edgeworth and Franziska; I thought that ending was perfect
Spoiler:
(and the card, oh man, I almost lost it when I saw the card)

When I completed PW:AA and PW:AA JFA.

PW:AA... I was with my friends and it was winter. Snow, like, everywhere and we where in a deserted park. None of the boys understood why I cried but the others were like "Awww...".

I couldn't do that final Objection...

Spoiler:
...right at the end when Maya says somthing like "Let's go get food and spend ALL of Nick's munny, LOL."

...becuase I was crying.

Also the ending to JFA and...

Spoiler:
The sad ending, but then I burst out laughing at the engrish: "The mirical never happen."

I cry too often for a boy actually.

I cried at the end of the first game. It was kind of awkward because I was visiting my grandparents and they were sitting in the room while I was finishing up the game. So they were like "lol wut."

Spoiler: HOWEVER.
I would have cried at the bad end in the second game but the typo made me lol into oblivion. Then I felt kind of bad. But I think the regular ending did make me kind of teary. I don't remember.

I almost never cry over games, movies, books, or anything. Not much makes me cry at all. But I did get quite emotional throughout 1-5. I'm a sucker for sibling relationships, and the whole SL-9 case was so tragic. Both Marshall brothers are my favorite characters.

Not really, but I do tend to get sentimental when I see the end/epilogue of the games sometimes I really miss the story board format from the first ace attorney, the way everything was layed out in the intro like a max payne chapter. They should go back to it. I don't know if GS5 goes back to the same style as the first one I haven't seen it yet.

JFA case 4 was really stressful you couldn't make too many mistakes or it was game over and there were not too many chances to fill up your health meter.

I definitely found my eyes welling up more than once. I guess in a way to get the most out of these games, I find that I let myself get worked up over some of the heavier cases, especially 1-4, 1-5, 2-3, 2-4.
Spoiler: 2-3
At the end of 2-3 seeing Acro during his confession was like looking into a mirror. :acro: Okay okay, I jest, but I was definitely choked up.
That's what I love about PW though, it's almost cathartic in a way, bringing you through a full range of emotions.

I never cry over anything fictional, but it can certainly punch my heart and jump up and down on it. xD I thought I'd just lose it during 1-4. ;_; And really, the music in so many different cases touches me. The end of 2-4 nearly had me in happy!tears too.

I never cried over anything in the series...

But I DID feel bad for Edgeworth in 1-4.. All my first impressions of him being a prick went away after that.

and in JFA, Phoenix being a bit emo every time the subject Edgeworth came up (I mean come on... "Don't mention that name around me"?)) and the "He's dead to me" quote tugged at my heart a bit. And still being so bitter to him after his return... Poor guys. D=

I almost cried (well, felt a big lump in my throat) in AA (Case 4)
Spoiler:
when Maya leaves on the train, she obviously feels sad to be leaving Phoenix, and he feels upset about her too. Actually, this was the first time I thought of the Phoenix/Maya ship

I did feel something in 1-5
Spoiler:
with the reunited Skye sisters and Ema/Lana hug, that was adorable ^_^

Spoiler:
The dark, sad ending of JFA also moved me, with the music, and images. They managed to make the Steel Samurai theme sound like the saddest thing ever :( It was just so sad to see Phoenix alone and his friendship with Maya crushed

In AA Case 4 and 5
Spoiler:
I felt sorry for Edgeworth - when he returned in JFA all he says is something like "All right?" Is that any way to greet someone you havent seen for a year?

Nick and Maya - Friends and Lovers....

I've never cried when I play games...however, the theme of the Detention Center (Police Elegy) does give a sad condition to the melody in good tunes.
