NOT INCLUDING TUTORIAL CASES

Anyway, besides tutorial cases, which cases do you all personally feel introduced the best music?

Basically, you're naming cases that introduced several songs you liked (so at least 2-3). It's not just, "name a song you really like and the case it appears in"

I can't really choose just one but I'll say each case and the music it introduced that I liked...

2-2:
Pearl Fey ~ With Pearly
Maya Fey ~ Turnabout Sisters 2002
Reminiscence ~ Scars Carved by Fire
Investigation ~ Opening 2002

2-4:
Investigation ~ Middle 2002
Reminiscence ~ Steel Samurai's Ballad
Investigation ~ Core 2002
Great Revival ~ Franziska Von Karma
End

I-3:
Kay Faraday ~ The Great Truth Burglar
Shi-Long Lang ~ Speak Up, Pup!
Reminiscence ~ False Relations
The Gentleman Thief's Secret Weapon
Blue Badger ~ Bando Land Theme
Interesting People

I-4:
Court ~ Guardians of the Law
Tyrell Badd ~ The Truth Isn't Sweet
Calisto Yew ~ Let Me Laugh at the Cool
Reminiscence ~ KG-8 Incident

I2-2:
Tateyuki Shigaraki ~ Joking Motive
Hakari Mikagami ~ Goddess of Law
Yumihiko Ichiyanagi ~ Ichiryuu's Reasoning
Bonds ~ A Heart that Believes

I2-3:
Reminiscence ~ IS-7 Incident (technically Case 2 but...........c'mon)
Gregory Edgeworth ~ A Defense Attorney's Knowledge
Tsukasa Oyashiki ~ Sweet Dance
Issei Tenkai ~ Sweet Happiness
Yutaka Kazami ~ Brandished Flavor
Ryouken Houinbou ~ Tone of an Assassin
(Don't remember if Confess the Truth played in Case 1. If it didn't, then CFT 2011)

I2-5:
Yumihiko Ichiyanagi ~ Ichiryuu's Farewell
The Great Monster Borumosu
The Mastermind
The Great Revival
Reminiscence ~ Fall of the House of Lang
Prosecutor's Murmur

*twitch*

......

I'd say that the moments when the music really 'hit' me were the debuts of Investigation ~ Core 2002 and Reminisicing ~ The Bitter Taste of Truth.

The impact of these two, combined with the moments in which they started playing... That kind of thing felt really special, somehow.

I like all of your choices (can't believe I forgot 1-2 and 3-5). Though, I probably should've phrased the OP better. Basically, you're naming cases that introduced several songs you liked (so at least 2-3). It's not just, "name a song you really like and the case it appears in"

1-2 was great.

The ones that stood out to me most when they first played were Congratulations, Everybody and Investigation ~ Core 2001.

And of course, in 1-3 we got the Steel Samurai theme which I think worked great in the game but not one of my favourites to listen to otherwise.

The first case of AAI2 was just amazing hearing all the investigation music for the first time. :edgey:

Perhaps you mean the Reminiscence theme?
Mr. Edgeworth, do you realize if we played by the rules, we'd be in court right now?

I think it's more of an investigation theme, it plays when your talking to Ron in the detention center at one point, but it doesn't play again until about halfway through case 5.

I think this one is from the DS, actually. The GBA ones are a lot more retro

No, these are both GBA, I'm positive. You just gave us a different game. Just take a listen at that, from the same uploader as your T&T track.

The confusion comes mostly out of T&T's OST being released in their GBA version originally, unlike the others, which debuted on albums as DS versions. You're not the first to make that mistake.
I have even newer version than both DS and GBA, so here's that.

Investigation ~ Opening 2004
Investigation ~ Middle 2004

This would be a DS version. The difference is less apparent, but it definitely is there.

Interesting. See, I've always listened to the versions that had the quality of the last two links you posted (so, DS). I just downloaded the soundtrack and listen to those versions on my iPod

For example, this is what I hear on my iPod: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRDgbQmFl-0
And this is what I had up to today assumed was the DS theme (and I thought the former was for an album release or Wiiware port): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6U0Kw_IgJg

Can't blame me since the song had DS in the title :/

It's interesting, though, considering the GBA tracks for T&T sound way better than the ones for PW and JFA. If I played the first two games with the GBA music, I'd probably think the music was crap

Actually, your assumption was right. The latter is DS version, while the former is GBA. Don't worry though, these two are hard to tell apart.

I'm personally more sold on Gyakuten Sound Box, myself, even if it does sound a little loud, compared to the other soundtracks.
