Going back to that case reminds me of how after busting their butts trying to get Edgeworth off the hook, they then left him in detention as they went off to party.

Merry Christmas, indeed.

Yes and it's also the month of my birthday. Turnabout Goodbyes murder takes place on December 25th while the trials take place in January. This December is going to be very busy and eventful that's for sure.

Just something I felt I should point out, the dates of the case don't go into January, they start at the 25th and end at the 28th. You might be getting it confused with Recipe for Turnabout, which followed something similar to what you said.

Here in Japanifornia, it's still Christmas Eve. In other words, it's almost Christmas!
Christmas Eve morning, actually, so Larry isn't even at the lake yet. But Gourdy fever is aliiiive!

I never did say Christmas,just DL-6mas :-P

Post subject:  Re: Shouldn't we be celebrating the start of AA1?

Surely DL6-Mas would have been 28th December 2001? But, that's nitpicking I know what everyone means, and Happy Turnabout Goodbyes doesn't really have the same ring to it. If it had a case number that'd be a different matter. :godot:

Anyway it's only 6:38pm Christmas Eve here right now, so Hammond hasn't even been shot yet. :klavier:

Hammond's probably in Grossberg's Law Office right now, trying to figure out how to get his next client out of his crime. "My client's on trial for shooting a man that defended his father's supposed killer? I've got it! I'll just pin the crime on my client's son and torment him for 15 years over it!" *wink, wink* :butzthumbs:

Either that, or he's on this Forum right now, trying to figure out why we're talking about him getting shot soon. :ron:

According to my timezone, the trial starts in half an hour. Yesterday and the day before that I just so happened to start playing the corresponding days almost precisely on time (the first day starts at 10:08 and I started playing at 10:12; the second day started at 9:44 and I picked it up at 9:40) which I thought was pretty neat. Hang in there, Edgey, I'm coming for you.

And now, on the 28th of December, DL-6 will finally be solved, and Manfred von Karma will be sent to prison for his crimes. :karma: :phoenix: :edgeworth:

And then in February next year (2017), Rise from the Ashes will take place, etc.

Ah, in just a few hours, the Son's soul will be freed from its shackles, precisely fifteen years after lawd Gregory Edgeworth's soul left his earthly, mortal shell. Too bad Edgey won't be able to join his own celebration dinner.

I spent Christmas Day thinking about Phoenix and Maya investigating Gourd Lake, and poor Edgey in jail. Amazing how this game has had such a lasting effect on me, even 7 years after I first played it. :udgey:

:edgey: Whoooooooooooooop! Detective Gumshooooooooooe!

:eh?: Then he hung his head low and went right back outside. Kind of like he was embarrassed or something. Strange, huh?

Today, Phoenix is finally shaken from his two months-long woe-is-me-state. Time to get crack-a-lackin' on the curious case of the murder of Bruce Goodman. Playing this right after 4-2 and 4-3, it's kinda fun to see kid-Ema again.

Well, now that 2-3 is over, so is 2017. So now, in '18, we'll have 2-4 and 3-2. Both pretty interesting cases, though admittedly a little bit sparse.

If anything I'm super excited for 2019 because that year will just be jam packed with AA cases.

Well, 2026, but other than that, yeah. The 7 year time gap in AJ is really staggering. After the Magnifi trial, the only thing of interest that happens till 4-1 is the UR-1 Incident.

State vs. Engarde is coming up in five days... Edgeworth returns after a thirteen-month personal journey... and Phoenix is tested in a way he's not been tested before.

Wait, what am I saying?! Burn in hell, you sack of garbage! You were just as bad as Engarde!

Anyway, hopefully it won't be too long till Matt joins him as well.
