Hello!

So, I made myself an Objection! for a cosplay, see: http://kat-aclysm.deviantart.com/art/Re ... n-62868694

Problem is, I have been having trouble locating the blue AND burgundy suit (I am conning a friend into doing Edgeworth, but I have to locate all the stuff, lucky me!). Or well, I found one in a retail store, but... $199AUD?! I would rather buy a new DS Lite to replace my old NDS (I have the original silver one, wooo!!). Anywhoo, where did you guys get your suits from (for those cosplayers who have already done it)? Or, where can I get them for relatively cheap?

Any suggestions welcome. I'm not cheap like a hobo (abusing this icon here and now), but paying retail price for a suit that's only going to be worn once or twice, and not even for serious purposes, is a little ridiculous, neh?

TRY THRIFT STORES.

I kid you not. If you have thrift stores in the area, riffle through them.

I found a Phoenix suit, like...bright royal blue and absolutely perfect, and it was only $8 Canadian.

Srsly, try thrift stores.

Yup, op shops are the way forward! You can also find them on ebay - search up "gyakuten saiban" and under the international sellers you should find a shop called human go cosplay that does Edgeworth's and Phoenix's suits (under their Japanese names). But they're pricey - op shops are a better choice! Remember you can always get a white jacket and dye it blue.

Goodwill is your friend, as someone said. Totally found a full edgey suit there once. There was even a ruffle :D
