The 3rd case, Turnabout Samurai, I reckon. The first case you get to investigate with Maya by your side. You've got a likeable defendant in Will Powers, somebody to haaaate in Wendy Oldbag, a really interesting story of all the double-crossing and deceit and stuff...and Edgey, of course. :phoenix: Oh, and of course the groanworthy name 'Sal Manella'. He reminds me so much of the leet-speaking Hammer Bros that it isn't funny.

...Okay, it's kinda funny. :edgy:
That apostrophe is preposterous! It's a preposterous apostrophe!

I love Turnabout Goodbyes myself. Yanni Yogi is a fun character, Manfred Von Karma is prosecuting (and damn hostile at that), and Edgeworth is on trial as the defendant. That turnabout has a lot of funny moments (such as Edgey cowering on the floor during an earthquake, and Yanni Yogi asking Maya and Phoenix to take over the pasta shop after he's gone) and sweet moments, such as Phoenix and Edgey talking about their childhoods.

It also is a rather significant case in regards to Phoenix and Edgeworth's friendship. Phoenix not only helps Edgeworth, he puts his nightmares to rest for once and for all. He also frees him from Von Karma's grasp. Phoenix really is a fantastic friend to Edgey, and this case was the decider in making me choose Phoenix as my favourite character in the series.

It was just too sweet in some parts. It's also drama filled. Huzzah!

All the cases in the first game were plenty wonderful.

The First Turnabout is fun as a start and it was a great warm-up to what was coming next. Turnabout Sisters is great because it's the first case related to the Feys. First appearance of Maya! Turnabout Samurai surprised me with Sal Manella so I like that one too. Seems each case is getting better and better.

Turnabout Goodbyes was shaping up to be the best if it wasn't for Rise from the Ashes greatly overwhelming it. SL-9 pretty much made DL-6 look like nothing. It's my favorite because of all the new characters made just for this case. Angel, Marshall, Meekins, Ema and Lana, and of course, Damon Gant!

Turnabout Goodbyes.

1: The plot was very interesting.
2: It was really emotional (Edgey, Maya...)
3: It was simply the most fun.

Dear god...

I'd have to say close tie between Turnabout Goodbyes and Rise from the Ashes.

So many great reasons for both, really...

Case 4: Karma, Yogi, 'LET THE PARROT TAKE THE STAND!!!', Edgeworth's lament/Emo'ness...and more!

Case 5: Dancing Blue Badger, Gumshoe, Lana/Ema Skye, CHIEF F'N GANT {WRIGHTO!} , The DS enhanced Gameplay additions.

...Can't choose, so I won't. :gant:

Hmm... I dunno... Kinda hard to decide I'd say. Between Turnabout Goodbyes and Turnabout Samurai...

Well, Turnabout Samurai introduced the Steel Samurai, Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo! Doesn't get much better than that!

Edit: I never really liked the fifth case, I didn't like all the extra DS features. Seemed kinda tacked on. That and it was a looong case that wasn't as exciting as the others. But Gant was a great character, no doubt about that! But he isn't the Steel Samurai!

Turnabout Goodbyes & Rise From The Ashes. :edgy: Great and very engaging plots (in both), twists and turns aplenty to keep you interested (though it did get a little frustrating at times) and great character interplay. Those two cases were AWESOME!!!! :edgy:

Also, it was VERY satisfying to pound Manfred von Karma into the ground and the headbang afterwards was just cool! ;D

You're stupid and don't deserve to play then. xP

Mine's either 3 or 4. Because of Will(y) or because of that it's sooo emotional.

Turnabout Goodbyes always has and still is my favorite case in the whole series, yes, even more than "Farewell, my turnabout". "Farewell, my turnabout" is a close number 2 on that list, though.

Anyways, the dramatic buildup, tension, and amount of things that were brought to light in it are rather amazing, thusly making it my favorite. "Turnabout Samurai" is an excellent case, as well. It was an incredible amount of fun, that one. :phoenix:

Turnabout Goodbyes, hands down

Many of the contradictions were easier to pin point than the ridiculous, loop-holed ones in Rise from the Ashes and it was more epic on a scale of drama than the previous cases as it ties in all the main characters and delves into their pasts that were changed forever by the DL-6 Incident.

Case 5 because Ema is more useful than Maya. It's fun cause you get to find out a lot about those people since the case is like probably 3-4 days long :gant:

Turnabout Goodbyes because it's so key to why the main character is what he is and why he does what he does and it also brings in the other main influences on his life nicely, not to mention beginning the "moral" questions about practicing the law.

Epic!

I loved the gameplay and Gant in 1:5, and also the story, but that's just not as massively epic as 1:4 to my mind.

Turnabout Goodbyes. Without a doubt.

It's quite an eventful case, since so much happens. I think it's one of the biggest milestones in the game. Maya does useful things (although I love her to death, she can be a bit annoying) to help the case, and I absolutely love her outburst.

Spoiler: Chyeah, spoiler.
Plus, who doesn't love von Karma with a taser (stun gun)? Seriously. I joke about that way too many times, since that was an 'oh shoot' moment.

Note to self: Get a signature here eventually.

It's hard for me to say, but I thought RFTA was the most fun to play out of the rest :D. A really nice bonus case.

Hmm... For me, I'd say it's between Turnabout Goodbyes and Rise From The Ashes. Actually, probably RFTA, thinking about it.

Turnabout Goodbyes was really significant in the plotline, emotional, and I loved finding out more about the characters and such.

But then... RFTA had oodles of extra puzzles to solve, and some nice new characters as well (although I dislike Ema - don't shoot me). It was a refreshing change from the usual style of investigating, too.

I'd say... Case 1-4 (big suprise)

Because it showed why Edgeworth is the cold hearted prosecutor he is.

Goodbyes. because it's fun and cool when you find everything out. :yogi: ftw too.

I like Rise from the Ashes, but it's just so long I don't think I'd ever replay it for fun D=

Samurai is awesome too. I loved the characters in that one...

Hmm.....I guess it's a tie between Turnabout Sisters and Turnabout Goodbyes. Case 1-2 deals with the Fey sisters, but 1-4 deals with Edgeworth's past.

Hm...well, I'd have to choose between Turnabout Goodbyes and Rise from the Ashes.
Turnabout Goodbyes-It had von Karma prosecuting, the music, Edgeworth wasn't as much of a jerk as he had been, the music, and the court proceedings. But I really didn't like how Maya thought she was useless. If you were useless, then I wouldn't be taking you along, now would I?
Rise from the Ashes-Ema/Lana Skye, Chief Gant, all the investigating that isn't as boring as it usually is, the scientific investigating, the court proceedings, and the ending.
Hm...I'd have to say that Rise from the Ashes was my favorite. Then again, I loved the music in Turnabout Goodbyes. Did I mention that? Don't think I did.

1-4.

The Phoenix/Maya-ish scene is toughing and Manfred von Karma is the 3rd Best Character in my opinion.
