No one will miss him. The only reason Meekins exists was because of the evidence room incident in 1-5. He doesn't even offer any helpful advice, just responds "Sir! Yes, sir!" every few lines and gives Phoenix and Edgeworth a headache. Everyone else has a purpose.

I can understand that if it's at his funeral. You can tell jokes at a funeral if you know that your dead friend would have wanted it. However, he was telling jokes during his murder trial! He was hindering the progression of justice in finding out who was responcible for his best friends death. To me, that's something completely different
