Could Someone help Shed some Light?

I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgable when it comes to the Ace Attorney series but theres one thing i've seen around and heard a bit about and really when it comes to it I have no idea whats going on.

From the name i'm guessing he was an original design for Phoenix but is there anything else. I can't help but wonder how the game would have gone if this really had been the overall Phoenix design. Somehow it would have seemed a bit harder to take him as seriously.

Whats the general publics opinion? I wanna hear what everyone thinks on the subject ^^

Yeah I'm pretty sure he was just the original design for Phoenix.
I'm just really glad that wasn't the final design. I would have a hard time taking him seriously as well.

Looking on the other character's designs, it definitely would be very cartoony and exaggerated compared to the wonderful series we have now.

I think it'd be cool if we could still get some use out of this character though. Maybe they'll show up in the next game even xD I guess no one really knows but I think it'd be funny to see this character as a defense attorney still

Someone once mentioned you have to be a lawyer before you can be a judge, what if this design could be the younger judge xD with his full head of green hair, wearing a blue ribbon and frolicking around like a happy child

I'm not scared of being old, I can annoy people by pretending i'm deaf.

The thought of a happy naive childish guy seems to fit young judge pretty well but I admit I always kinda pictured younger judge to look...how can I describe this...like a cross between Larry, Greg Edgeworth and Gumshoe...if that makes any sense at all
