I don't care who you are, what language you speak, what your IQ is, but if you have ears, you will agree with me.

I mean, come on. I'm on the third game and I have yet to get riled up by a cornered theme like the first game did. That theme was amazing. I would actually burst out and yell "THAT'S RIGHT B**CH!" when I cornered someone in that game, and then that music would come on and I would get totally pumped. I totally miss that. :larry2:

Did they change the music for T&T? I thought they only changed a lot of music for AJ?

Anyway the last theme (cornered) was remixed for T&T
there are like two or three great themes for the first game, but the others are all for T&T, two or three from JFA, and some from AJ

TnT had terrible Objection music.
JFA and TnT had some nice character theme songs, but AA definitely had the best court music.

Hmm, let's see...

Opening Court Music - I like JFA's the best. AA's never felt all that dramatic to me.
Explanation - I like JFA's Trick and Magic better than AA's Logic and Trick, but it's close.
Cross-examination - I like all of them, but T&T's is my favorite.
Objection - Gotta give this one to AA. The original is still the best.
Cornered - I like JFA's the best. AA's was pretty good. I didn't like T&T's much at all.
Announce the Truth - AA again.

Other than the cross-examination music, I thought most of T&T's routine music was somewhat lame. The exception was Search - Middle Stage 2004, which is my favorite Search of any game. A close second place goes to Core 2002 aka the theme of :psycho-matt: .

I admit, I liked a lot of other songs from the other games, but the court music went from amazing to mediocre to alright between games. So yeah, I'll give a similar breakdown as you did arimnaes. All of them are from the first one, so if you disagree, don't bother reading it.

Courtroom Lounge - AA's. Deny this and I will kill you.

Opening Court Music - AA's. I was so used to hearing that while reading opening statements. It's drilled into my memory.

Cross-Examination - AA's was awesome. So intense. ESPECIALLY the allegro. Wow. I listen to it and it just sparks. It clicks. I like T&T's one too, but I can't deny the fact that AA's was the best to me. The rest were all spin offs of the melody, you can tell.

Objection - AA. Epic win. That's all there is to say.

Cornered - Epic wtfbbqpwn win. Still AA. See post 1 of this thread. You can tell I think its the best theme in the freakin world. In fact, it's by far the best song of all 4 games overall.

Announce the Truth - duh. AA.

I think it's just cause the first game was so unique. It was the first game I played of the series, and it was the first game of this type (investigation, awesome story, etc) so it had a huge impact on me and got me hooked within the first few minutes of case one.

My order of preference
1. AA
2. T&T or JFA
3. JFA or T&T

Well I can't decided which one goes second place. D:

BUT I love it how they combined all of Phoenix's Objection themes. =DD

When Phoenix popped up as the defense aide in AJ and the AA objection theme started playing... hah. I let it sit for a couple of minutes to listen to the sweet, sweet music.

I love AA's "Court Begins" theme for the nostalgia factor, but I think T&T's was the best, actually. It seemed to say to me, hey, this is a murder trial. It's time to buckle down and get serious. Overall, I think that theme fit VERY well with the Dahlia story arc.

T&T's detention center theme... I didn't notice it until seeing Iris in the detention center. The sparse, drifting piano... Amazing. It's like it was made for that scene, and it stayed with me ever after that. Of course, AA's detention center theme was great as well, but as it was more of a general purpose theme, it didn't quite fit as well with any of the specific scenes as T&T's did.

And, of course, AA's Cornered theme. There simply are no words to describe that theme. That's all I can say about that one.

Why? I liked it, myself. It didn't seem quite like an Objection theme, somehow, but as Apollo's theme it's excellent. After all, after Apollo's story is over, that's the theme that'll be associated with him, like Objection 2001 to Phoenix.

Sorry but...

GS3 - Trial
Investigation - cross examining
Distant traces of beauty
Fragrance of dark coffee
Kamen Mask (Ron's theme)
Tres Bien
Warehouse Tiger (Tigre's theme)

BEAT PW:AA's music to death and then some.

And then the bonus CD is even better...special blend mix...that is godly.

Lolz mistranslation. I believe the title of that is actually "Swinging Zenitora"

AA's Objection was best hands down, but most of the court themes and such I liked all equally... well, maybe I could say I liked 3's the least? It was my favorite the first time I heard it but I got kind of sick of it. I liked Maya's theme best in the first one too. But I don't know that I could say AA's music is absolutely the best, because 2 had awesome songs like The Great Revival and Hotline of Fate. And 3 had Swinging Zenitora and Fragrance of Dark Coffee... and don't get me started on 4's Guilty Love. I really like Apollo's Objection too, though admittedly nothing beats AA's.

Spoiler: 4-4
Having the music and graphics from the first game really made that flashback scene.

I never liked JFA's Objection when I actually played it, but I grew to like it more and more when I listened to it after. Agreeing with most others here, AA's Objection pwns all other objections (haven't heard AJ yet so dunno about that one). It's just so ass-kickingly awesome!

Courtroom Lounge: JFA > T&T > AA for me. I really loved the one from JFA (it was used in T&T as well). I always thought it had something to do with Kurain Village every time it played because it sounded so mysterious.

Cross-examination: AA > T&T > JFA. The JFA cross-examination theme was horrible. It didn't give me that sense of urgency at all. AA and T&T, however, were pure epicness although I like AA's cross-examination slightly more than T&T's.

No way. If you ask me, it has to be JFA. Epic court suite (Cornered 2002 is always the first Cornered I think of, it's that catchy), Hotline of Fate (mainly because it has an interpolation of Cornered '02 throughout), Search ~ Core 2002, Pearl's Theme, Great Revival, de Killer's theme, and the two best contemplative pieces in the series IMO (Elegy of Police Cameras and Reminiscence ~ Steel Samurai's Ballad). The music is one of the reasons that JFA is my favorite game of the series, actually.

I agree that Search ~ Core 2002 and Steel Samurai's Ballade are two of the greatest songs in the series. In terms of detention center music, however, I actually prefer AA's over that of the other two games. I can't recall from memory the difference between the three cornered music - at the moment they sound (in my head) similar :sadshoe:

Here's what I think!

Courtroom Lounge - AJ/AA (Can't choose!)

Opening Court Music - JFA (a lot better than all the others)

Cross-Examination - T&T (esp Allegro 2004), JFA (Moderate only).

Objection - AA/AJ (Can't decide either)

Cornered - T&T/AJ

Announce the Truth - JFA's once again!

As for the rest, I think that JFA has the better Search tunes (Core, Opening and In The Midst) and T&T has the better character tunes (Luke, Tigre, Mask*DeMasque, Elise). AJ has only a few memorable tunes (apart from those above, I only really like :kyouya:'s Starstruck and :minuki:'s themes)

Well, I agree that when I first heared those, it was "ummm, like" ROCK ON!!
Now these are my lists:

Spoiler: My list....YOU....WATCH...IT!!....
BEST CORNERED
3, 1, 2, 4

BEST I.T.T
2, 4, 1, 3

BEST ALLEGRO
4, 3, 2, 1

BEST EXAMINATION
3, 1, 4, 2

BEST OBJECTION
1, 3 , 4, 2

BEST TRIAL
3, 1, 4, 2

BEST LOBBY
1, 3, 4, 2

BEST VICTORY
4, 3, 1, 2

+ I think that first game didn't have the BEST reminiscences, but it still has few of my favourites...(True Evening of Grief, Shadows of Film Studio)
BUT!! think that it still has some WAY better tunes then the rest of these games, so my answer isn't not YES nor NO.
Musics still rocks and these are the originals!

Well, since I only realised that it would be a good idea to play with the sound on by the time I got to T&T, that game's music has a special place in my heart. However, here's what I think:

Detention Center: I think I'll have to vote for AA. Jailer's Elegy is just perfect for when Edgeworth is there doing his melancholy folded-arms pose.

Courtroom Lobby: JFA. It just sounds mystical and beautiful.

Start of a new trial: JFA. It gives a truly distinct feel of something important being about to happen.

Reminiscence: I love the slow beauty of the Steel Samurai Ballad, but I think I'm going to have to go for Reminiscence: DL-6 Case. The opening of that tune just pulls at my heart, every time. It's perfect for the context: a piece of music as bleak and despairing as Edgeworth himself.

I have found throughout the years that the objection theme from JFA has really grown on me, to the point of it becoming my favorite. Second place goes to T&T's objection, for being a cool song overall.

Cross examination music: AA has always had my favorite in the PW trilogy, but the AJ cross examination is a really catchy tune, especially the Allegro.

As for Cornered: All three are really great, and are used throughout all three games (at least the first one is). AA's is more like "epic" in a sense, like a duel between the lawyers, while JFA's is more "witness orientated" with the battle being with the guy on the stand. T&T's is a mixture of both, as both witness and Prosecution are out to get you. So T&T wins for best for me.

All three games had really awesome songs, really.
Gant's theme, Steel Samurai, Jake Marshall, Gumshoe's theme
Shelley de Killer, Ini Miney song, Steel Samurai Ballad, Psycho-Lock
FRAGRANCE OF DARK COFFEE, Zvarri! Ron's theme, Tigre's theme, Deauxnim's theme, Dahlia's theme...

Actually, if you look at it, T&T has the most memorable (in my opinion) songs in the entire trilogy. It seems like everyone has a theme, and they are all pretty catchy.

AA1 does have some of the best music, but JFA has my favorite Objection theme, Ballad of the Steel Samurai, and Great Revival. TnT has The Fragrance of Dark Coffee and Swinging Zenitora. I love AA's cornered theme the best, plus the courtroom lobby music, and the testimony/cross examination music. Though I like JFA's court opening better...

The first game will always be near and dear in my heart, but it all depends on the specific songs for each game. All 3 (I'm not done with AJ yet hehe) have amazing soundtracks. However...
Court Lobby theme: uuuugh... I don't really have a particular one because I never really pay much attention to them... I'll say AA cuz that's the only one I can hear in my head...
Trial Proceedings theme: T&T - It feels so epic to me... I felt like it was the final showdown the moment I started the first case
Objection theme: T&T - This one makes me wanna dance ^-^
Cross-Examination: all the Allegro's are awesome, but the best will always be AA. It's really suspenseful, while the others feel a bit too calm
Inform the Truth: T&T, just cuz I'm always riled up, going like, "I'm on a roll! Oh yeah!" when I hear this theme
There's probably other parts I haven't mentioned, but I can't remember them right now.

Overall favorite songs (besides the ones listed above)
- Maya's Theme
- ALL the ending songs, esp. T&T ending (brings a tear to my eye)
- Investigation ~ cross-examination (variation) <-- AWESOME
- Apollo's Theme (I'm only on case 3 though, but so far it sounds pretty sweet)

Here's my opinion.

Trial: AA > JFA, the other two don't matter.

Announce the Truth: AJ wins me on this one. I just really like the feel.

Courtroom Lounge: AJ once again. Bouncy beat, and yet still has the feel like 'this might be your last free moment.'

Examination (Allegro)(moderate isn't worth covering): AA > than AJ, the other two suck.

Investigation ~ Cornered: AA. JFA sucked, T&T is almost the same as AA, and AJ is just ok.

scientific/examination music: AJ It's got this light trancy feel to it and I like that.

Objection: AA: It really felt like :phoenix: was on top of his game.

Recollection/Reminice: DL-6 ( Poor :gregory: and :edgeworth:) It's the most memorable one and emotional for me. Next comes 'A Fate Smeared by Tricks and Gadgets' from AJ. Something about it captured me.

Search ~ Core: AJ. IDK, for some reason, I really loved this one. :odoroki:

Search ~ Opening: AA. It draws me in somehow.

Suspense: JFA's Hotline of Fate.

Character theme: AJ's Solitary Confinement ~ Darkness Theme. It draws me as well. Image
Spoiler: 4-1,4-4
My poor Krissi... why does he have to be so evil? (Maybe that's why I'm drawn to him??)
(At least I consider it to be his theme.) AJ's Guilty Love for a tie. :rock'n: (I see that as :kyouya:'s.)

Detention Center Theme: JFA: Elegy of Surveilance Cameras

Favourite AA: Light and Shadows at the Film Studio

Favourite JFA: Prosecutor's Path: :edgy: and :franny: (BONUS)

Favourite T&T: The Fragrance of Dark Coffee - :godot:'s Theme

Favourite AJ: Troupe Gramarye's Theme

Favourite of all time: Distant Traces of Beauty :that-b-word: :ayame:, second comes The Guitar's Serenade. :gipsy:
