Minuki is written in hiragana, not kanji. It's also obviously a stage name.
There's the eye color thing though, and it seems slightly unlikely for an "old" character to make a reappearance as such an important character, though the same could be said about Akane.

Nuri (and several other members of the staff) have only been around since the YG remake, so it's not that unusual that they'd be more comfortable using case 5's characters.
Not that I hope any others make an appearance...
Anyway, since Takumi has already said he doesn't WANT to use a lot of the old characters, I doubt we'll see many more cameos (not in this game, anyway). The chances of Pearl actually showing up are pretty slim at this point.

Well, I suppose novices in Japanese dialect should keep their mouth shut. But she's a different age than Pearl should be (it's a year but who cares). And the eye color thing.
