That courtroom in NYC looks exactly like the courtroom in the court scene of Big Daddy. (don't ask me why I remember that) Did they film on sight, I wonder?

The one you're thinking of is Judge John James's ceremonial Courtroom. It's actually a criminal Courtroom. Manhattan Courtrooms follow one of three floorplans, so they tend to look alike.

Yet the acoustics vary. Weird, ja?

Hmmm. Image

Not so much pretty as...majestic, I'd say. It's the Supreme Court courtroom, but what really amazes me are the carvings up around the ceiling. I got to go in there and...oh my goodness, they're beautiful. There are several aspects of Greek mythology. While everyone else in my class was like, "OH MY GOSH! THE CHIEF JUSTICE SAT IN THAT CHAIR!" I looked up most of the time. :edgy:

Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but as far as typos go in Apollo Justice, I noticed many many MANY mistakes between your/you're and their/they're and the like. Also a few mistakes with to/too if I recall. So other than possibly needing a refresher course on a few key aspects of basic grammar, the translation team did alright.

On the note of translations and not pretty-looking courtrooms...

I believe the translation team for this one was for the first game?
