would have to recuse himself (Turn over the case to another Prosecutor) since he knows the Defendant personally. It's a common practice for Prosecutors (and on occasion Defense Attorneys) and Judges in the circumstances in order to remain impartial.No matter where you go, there you are.

The manuals always do tell you that the laws and procedures are fictional, so there's no real problem from that point.

I can't believe the judge had qualms about letting him bring his camera, but had no problems with his sword. ... What kind of parents does that kid have anyway?!
