When you saw the trailer for GS4, did you reconise Phoenix?

When I first saw the GS4 trailer a few months ago, I had no idea that was phoenix on trial, I thought they had made a character that looked like him. After all, they did the same thing with Ema... Did you reconise Phoenix? (Doesn't count if you can read Japaneese)

I did, though that's because I recognized his facial features, despite looking different. That, and the spikey point in his hat that matches his hair was a dead give-away when combined with the face.

Oh, and I had read something beforehand about how the team behind the series believes Phoenix would wear an outfit like that when not wearing his suit, so I had jumped to the conclusion from that, too.

I only reconised when I saw his picture on court records and the legend saying it was Nick!

I thought he looked familiar, and when this site told me he was Phoenix I wasn't that surprised.

Honestly, I didn't think that was Phoenix at first until I start reading other people thought on CR and then It was relieved that he was. I felt really dumb!

I had already found out who he was in the info articles before the trailer was released. I was pretty surprised though, I'd never expect him to come back looking that mature (and hot) for his age.

When I saw the trailer of GS4, I thought Odoroki was Phoenix! I thought he only changed the clothes... and hair... just to bring something new to the series.

Damn was I dumb then. I hadn't even bought AA yet...

I don't think I caught it initially, though something about his appearance struck me as odd. When it was first purported that it was Phoenix, I took a closer look and realized that it really was true.

Not at first. I looked at him and thought, "Wow, Odoroki's defending some bum. This should be f- hey, is that Ema's pin?"
The pin was what gave me suspicions, and then as other people began noticing the similarites between Hobohodou and Phoenix, I gradually began to see the similarities more and more.
