Isn't he dead? :eh?:

'Cause in the GS5 sub-forum there are ppl talking about the possibility of him being in it (like the final villain thread), but I remember someone saying Thalassa's husband died in a stage accident...

That is pretty much true...Zack(I believe) or some other character, mentioned to Phoenix that Apollo's father died on stage...so technically, we have little to no information regarding this Mysterious PaPa's death...
Surely some information will come in the next installment of AJ, or if the mother wants to talk about it.

As was Godot.

I think if they do it 3 times in 3 games, it'll get a bit repetitive, tho =\

Plus, Magnifi hid the fact that Thalassa was still alive to control Zak and Valant. He would have no reason to hide the death of Thalassa's first husband. And then there's the fact that they remarried...

Lol, just imagined this happening xD
Thalassa: I don't love you any more. I want a divorce.
Thalassa's First Husband: I want a divorce too, but they're too complicated... let's fake my death instead! :D

Who's to say Magnifi was the one who hid it? Better yet, what if it was Magnifi who was trying to kill him so that Thalassa would return to the Troupe!? And he faked his dead to escape...!!

It's Apollo's dad - I don't think they would have brought him up at all, let alone in such a curiosity-evoking way, if they didn't mean to do something with it.

Do you think the Mystery Papa(Apollo's father), will be mentioned on the next AJ game?

I'd like to hear more about Apollo's father. Maybe his death will come up in one of the cases?

It's almost certain he will appear in one of the future Apollo Justice games. Even if he is dead, that hardly means we can't have a case about his death or some kind of flashback scenario. And there is always the possibility of a spirit medium showing up...: D

But I think it's more likely he's alive. That's the "in" thing. Godot, Misty, Maya, Mimi, Edgeworth, Zak, Thalassa...All were, to varying degrees, thought to be dead, and each one of them showed up alive and well...albeit briefly, in some cases.

Well, we can't say for sure it was Magnifi. But since Zak and Valant thought Thalassa was dead, then the only person left that we know of is Magnifi, so if it wasn't him, then we don't have any idea... but what would someone accomplish by making it seem Thalassa is dead?

I just don't think they are going to pull "It seemed like s/he died in a stage accident BUT ZOMG LOOK S/HE'S ALIVE!!" twice in a row. I really hope that he is dead, 'cause doing that same thing in a row would be a bit weak. I also hope that if Apollo's father is indeed alive, Magnifi didn't try to kill him, 'cause I'm tired of all this melodramatic Gramarye darkness junk -_-'

btw, TSS, Misty and Zak were never thought to be dead; they were just missing.
Spoiler: 3-5
Plus, Misty was never truly missing, as the Prosecutor's Office was keeping track of her whereabouts since she was the Master.

That's pretty much true...I mean, come on, why would that Magnifi try to pull that kind of trick only for his daughter to return to the troupe? He had enough power over Zak and Valant as it was, even after her death, when his power greatly increased, he probably ordered them around because of...
Spoiler:
Thalassa's death or because he liked to overuse his power, is yet to be seen..although from what Zak and Valant told Phoenix, it pretty much about Thalassa's death.

However, it all depends on how we each see the side of the coin, if you will. But, still, i dont think Magnifi killed Mystery Papa.

When you go missing after that long of a time, a lot of people will assume you are dead. At the very least, Zak was "legally dead" before Valant learned he had been alive(though by the time he found out, he really was dead.>_>).
