The first game in the series crafted specifically for the DS, Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice puts you in charge of title character Apollo Justice at the outset of his legal career. Controlling the game almost exclusively by pointing and clicking on the DS Touch Screen, you must guide Apollo through an investigation phase before defending clients in the courtroom. During the investigation phase you gather evidence by interviewing witnesses and scouring crime scenes for clues. After you’ve built a case, you must stand before a judge and defend the innocence of your client by cross-examining witnesses and revealing your findings. Whichever case you are working on, you can expect to become immersed in the deep and entertaining storylines that have become a trademark of the Ace Attorney games.
As well as introducing Apollo, the game marks the arrival of several more fascinating characters to the series. There’s Apollo’s assistant; the young magician Trucy, who’s mysterious powers can help you to tell when a witness is giving false evidence. There are also brothers Klavier and Kristoph Gavin – one a rock star and ace prosecutor and the other a level-headed lawyer who is always on hand with helpful tips for Apollo. On top of that, you’ll cross paths with the star of the previous Ace Attorney games, Phoenix Wright, in the most dramatic of circumstances!
In some of the toughest cases in the Ace Attorney series yet, you’ll have to unravel multi-layered mysteries, defend more seemingly in-defensible causes and even persuade a jury of your client’s innocence for the first time. And, as fans of the series know, no Ace Attorney game would be complete without the ability to intervene in proceedings by yelling “Objection!” or “Hold it!” into the DS microphone. So brush up on your legal skills and prepare for the bar to be raised as you seek the truth in Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice.

The screenshots are german but the blurb seems to relate to the english version unfortunately. I would confirm this but cant find the game page in other languages.

The names in the blurb are the same for the English, German, Spanish and Italian versions.
The French dont have a page for it

A few main characters had the same names in French as they did in English. I'll use an example. Maya's name in French and German is Maya Fey. They're the same.
But Minuki's French and German names, Verite and Trucy respectively, are totally different. Therefore, I'm not all that inclined to believe that Trucy is her English name.
If it is, well fuck me.

Anyway, when I read "Trucy", the first word that came to my mind was "Truth". "Truth", "truthy", "trucy", you "true"-see? But please, don't kill me for that bad pun.
So, maybe, I said MAYBE, it'll be her English name too.
From the English to the German/Italian/Spanish version, there were no name change (except for Juan Corrida in Spanish), and I don't see why they would start to do this... If there were name changes in French, it's because it's, like... a custom.
And about "Klavier", well, er... The first thing that came to my mind when I read this name was "clavier" (clah-vieh, if you want a close English spelling of this French word), which means "keyboard" (musical or not).
(Note: I know that "Klavier" isn't pronounced "clah-vieh", but I was talking of "Clavier". I also know that "musical keyboard" is "Klaviatur" in German.)
I prefere "Konrad", anyway. Looks and sounds... better.
