There's also the fact that no, most people do not pronounce 'pocky' right. For them to think this they'd have to believe that 'Wocky' IS pronounced 'Wah-key'.
Then theres the fact that 'Woah-key" would just sound terrible.

His father, Winfred, is what I'd call a "black asian" man while Plum is obviously of Japanese decent. So HOW THE HELL does Wocky then look like a white guy? Surely he should have the same colour skin as his father - only paler?

I'm a little confused... what do you mean by "black asian"? Also, I don't exactly see how their skin colors are in any way nonsensical compared to Wocky (who I actually don't think looks white at all, I see him as Japanese). I'd say that Winfred has the skin tone of a laborer. Plum's complexion reflects a wife who cares for the home, and Wocky certainly doesn't seem the type to work so I don't think he'd really be any darker than he currently is, right?

Hah, I think it was actually the very same line (or at least another one ending in "bizzoooooooy!") that made me realize how much I love him. :3 I can't take the "gangsta" type either, but Wocky just takes it sooooo far that it becomes... kind've awesome. Even if it took me, like, two playthroughs to figure out everything he says.

But honestly, I loved little Wocky. He actually did teach me a little Gangsta talk. Like the real meaning of G, and OG. And his little speeches coupled with
allowed me to like the character.
I still hate his and Alita's sprites, though. Why is his/her face so flat! It makes no sense!

He just doesn't seem tough. He's also stupid, and that always helps in fights.

(Except he's much lighter, but the fact remains that I see him as just someone who's outside a lot.) Thailand general population isn't really any darker than your general asian country, I'd say.
I don't know about Alita, but maybe he gets if from his mother?

At first I thought he was weird, but as I went through the game, he grew on me. It was was just so hilarious how he tried to act gangsta and badass, and some of his lines had me cracking up! Even my mother thought he was funny (Yes my mom played AJ). And blah he was just adorable
The sprite with him twirling his hair and the sprites with him 'wibbling' get me every time. And characters with his archetype always seem to make me laugh.So yeah that's my whole piece on Wocky... Aiite?

And when his is done, Baz will of course need to run in, do the same thing. I think it's a good plan, we should be able to pull it off this time, uhh, what do you think Abdul, can you give me a number crunch real quick?
