Is it ever noted by anyone in the game that Takita has a modified, "gangster"-styled Blue Badger on his shirt? Even if not, perhaps it could be added under Takita's Misc. facts?

Uh, sorry to be a burden on teh topic, but why on earth is everyone all up in arms over stuff like the Jury System and the possiblity of Noodle man being changed to burger man with his traveling burger cart?
Remember this is the saem series where court cases have a max of THREE days to be resolved, Prosicutors can become defense attorneys on the drop of a hat, where PARROTS are viable witnesses, Walkietalkies can sweat oil, Puppets and Walkie Talkies blow up one moment and completly together hte next, where someone is struck by lighting IN court, everyones name is a pun on something, russian pirate waitresses, people can be brought back to life with visors that can't see teh color red, bodies are disposed of in crazy ways, evidence on closed cases are in high TECHNICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL lockers while open cases are just left where anyone can get them, PANTIES ARE MAGIC(!!!), and where PEOPLE CAN SUMMON THE DEAD.
Yes, a burger cart and there being a jury system are OBVIOUSLY WAY. TOO. OUT. THERE.

WHEW.

Uh...I think you're missing the point.

It's not that a burger cart would be too "out there" it's that it wouldn't make any sense in the context of the case. There's a lot in it specifically tailored to the cart being used to sell noodles.

The only option really is to leave it a noodle cart. But then, how will localization deal with the fact that Phoenix eats burgers, not ramen? That's the question we're debating.

Gumshoe refers to himself being on the instant noodle diet in GS2, and no one seems to bat an eye...

Of course, if Mr. Bowlyhead's only been working a cart for two years, how could he be Nick and Maya's ramen guy as well? (Did he hold two jobs for... 7+ years?)

Decisions, decisions... (Damn, I sound random)

Uhhhhhh actually Case 2 is completely finished, and the villain POV for case 1 is, too. But since Case 2 kind of spoils the end of Case 1, I want to get case 1 done before posting them, but to do that I've been waiting to see Naila's script, because I kind of forgot the order of however everything happened (which contradictions were presented first, etc). They'll both be on site as soon as possible.

It's more of a scientific reason than a perverted reason, so I don't see why it would be left out.

That wouldn't work, with all the ramen bowls and the guy's noodle hair.

Maybe Italian food? Italian food is famous for pasta, and it ties in with the mafia theme.

Not to mention the fact that the guy has a "charumera", which ties into the overall noodle theme. I also thought his personality was pretty noodle too.

Hey Croik, you could update the character profiles and add the Case 2 ones :3 That way you get them done while it's fresh in your memory ^_^

It could still be kept as a ramen stand. Just say the guy was trying something he took from Japan. Kind of like Angel Starr with her bento boxes. They didn't change them, she just acknowledged they were from the 'Far East'.

I think that there's no problem with a noodle stand in LA. It may lose the significance of being the place that Maya and Phoenix went to have miso ramen/burgers/whatever, but it doesn't break the story or anything. Who's to say that American Maya didn't like miso ramen as well as burgers?

I think it may take too much to change it to a burger stand, to the point of reworking the entire case.

One thing I a little more worried about is a drug reference in the case, Odoroki was worried about Hobohodo asking him to show Ema a white powder in his hat being drugs (Turns out to be fingerprinting powder) I think this is the series first ever drug referrance and it might raise the rating up enough to impede sales over here.
No matter where you go, there you are.

... I doubt it. With it being a joke, and untrue, I doubt it will affect the rating. It would take more jokes of that nature, or an actual showing of a drug to make the rating high.

CASE 3, DAISEIKOU~~~!!!!

*B* (I got a lot of penalties in this one :B)

I'm not sure I liked this case as much as case 2, but...kinda hard to beat panties in a court of law. Of course, it was a little more serious as well.

BUT IF I HAVE TO HEAR "PLEASURE, ITOSHI NO MELODY~~" one more time I might stab someone with a pompadour.

AND YET

Still enjoying the game <3

God I wish we had Maki sprites. What an adorable little jailbait boy he is.

Do they mention this case in the next one? In so much as it affects Kyouya's character, I mean. It couldn't have been an easy case for him, but he's so "cool" it doesn't show much. Poor thing~

Off to update~

I have to go back and fix a few things (details I didn't think were important at the time turned out to be!) but if you're impatient, you can read while I type XD.

Though I'm a little unclear about one part near the end...

This is the Phoenix Wright world. The previous case used not only two pairs of panties as legal evidence in a court of law, but one pair were MAGIC for gods sake.
They could say Lamiror could fire off LAZOR BEAMS from her eys and it still wouldn't that hard to believe.
WE HAD A PARROT AS A WITNESS!
Erhem....but I digress.
Case 3 sounds cool, but I've always liked case 3 of the games. Is the main theme that apparently plays through the case better than the steel samurai theme?
