WOCKY? WOCKEEEE! Yo, wazzaaaaaap? XDD

Also, Trucy calls Apollo "Polly" (ilu Capcom <3) You can see that in the trailer if you pay close attention to the quote that appears on the upper left corner during Trucy's presentation.

One 1-4 reference in the game and I'll be a happy girl.

Shadi? And of course the first thing I think of is yu-gi-oh: the abridged series...
"Jageshamash!"

Wocky? Bound to be a nickname. Otherwise a part of me just died.

Not a village, a commune.
(And, this has nothing to do with this, but there's a commune in France called "Y". Phonetical : [ i ]. Yes, like the letter E in English. XD)

Trucy's the only real disappointment thus far. Verité was a much nicer name. :uramidn:

Vérité Vérité Vérité Vérité.
(Okay, that's just an accent, but heh. XD)
Also, this name may look nicer to you, but... It looks weird, or even anwfull to some French persons. (As a name, not as a noun, heh.)

Also, Klavier speaking German and Wocky WTF.
English isn't my first language, so I apologize if you don't understand me. But this doesn't mean that you are not allowed to correct me, eh.

I really hope Wocky is an nickname. Walker W. Walkerman might actually be an okay name for Takita. They kept the Kamen Mask joke, so they might keep this joke. and yeah, I can stand Trucy, I had a past girlfreind named Trucy. I see people agree with me Takita's new name reminds people of the Jabberwock so there might be refrences to him.

Knowing Capcom they will pick something smart like naming Makoto, Venus Dee and have Doburoku named Milo Dee. They can come up some really good names, so everybody- maybe it's best to wait until we figure out Takita's full english name.

@DarzieP: Of course it will not stop me, this maybe my favorite one in the series. I'll just dislike my favorite charecter in it's name, for now. my opinion might change depending on his full name.

Wocky is...odd. But I'm withholding judgement until we get his full name. Either way I think I can get used to it.

None of the other names particularly irk me.

I like Klavier as a name better than Konrad... Konrad reminds me of Comrade... which reminds me of Animal Farm... which is just not good for me lol. Also on Monday I'm going to yell ACHTUNG BABY at the top of my lungs during lunch.

Spoiler: Sort of?
I predict that Yuumi's name will be Diamond. Just because of the crest on her magician outfit.
Eh, I'll probably be wrong. :welly:

(But I did predict Iris' name correctly, and was close with Dahlia's... I thought it'd be Delilah.)

Seriously though, if they wanted to have a name with the meaning 'truth', surely there were better candidates than Trucy.

Was debating that on DA as well xD

For Minuki... I was thinking something along the lines of Mysti/Misty. It sounds like Mystic/Magician that kind of junk.

For Kyoua I really thought Kalvin would be cute x3 Kristoph and Kalvin Gavin, that sounds cool XD

And for the record, I like all the names. They're better than APRIL MAY, that's for sure.

I'm still sticking to my opinion that all the names are passible, at the very least. I mean, Imagine the other possibilites for Klavier. Casio? Fender? Takamine? (The last two being makes of Guitar, which according to some people would work better :F)

The name Wocky makes us see the punk for who he really is, a bit of a misguided show-off who doesn't understand the consequnces of his actions (Especially if it's his nickname :D) And as I said before, Shadi Smith works on many levels (I mean, Frank Sawit was just an obvious a pun). But thats just me. Trucy was a bigger dissapointment for me, but I'm slowly starting to warm up to it :3

I don't see how you can possibly get "punk" out of "Wocky." All I see is a muppet. Or "wacky" or "wonky" or any number of silly things that have nothing to do with him being a yakuza kid who associates with foxes and being manly. :B

;_;

I think that sums up the problem I have with the GS4 names right now: it's like they put only half a thought into them. Quick, what're the German words for uniform, chains, and lipstick!? Those were all in his dressing room, they must be related to him, too, lolololol.

I mean come on, if you're going to blatantly name him after a musical instrument, why pick the one he intentionally has other people play for him? Why not name Maki "Klavier"? It makes a hell of a lot more sense for him!

Here, I have one. This stemmed out of the different games "Gloves" (That is to say, Mitzy) and I were playing in the BBC.

What are they going to do? Make Maki Japanese and call him "Gita"? I mean, they called Kyouya "Klavier", which means piano.

Maki: My name is Guitar. I play the piano.
