I actually like Apollo. A lot of people it seems thought he was "typical", but he seemed anything but to me; he was dependant, straight-edged, and a crybaby (though kind of a jerk too). I love it! XD

I have returned from the depths of Hell (strep throat and a ridiculously high fever :meekins: ) to do battle with you get on my computer for the first time in about a week. Now that I'm done ripping off Godot quotes...

And then thats when you meet his twin brother...

........or something along those lines. ;o


I've been sick on and off and I havent been able to stop myself from reading Psych and House fanfics. And schools being a jerk with homework. And I always get distracted when I get online...

Man...I just looked at that picture again. I really should get my really really planned fic off the ground. I just need to figure out which plotline I'm gonna go with first. And I need to finish the D.N.Angel fic, but you all know that I'm a procrastinator...I'll have fun in the summer. Or over spring break. Or I'll at least start plot-lining everything in my cute little notebook.

I was actually thinking about this the other day, and I thought it would be funny if it was the girl's 21st b-day (she's slightly younger), and she SPECIFICALLY asked Apollo to come on a yacht (which is where they were holding the party). The parents love their daughter so much, so the party has lots of famous people and stuff. It's a rather formal party, like tuxes and stuff, but it's also really laid back. Apollo appears out of NOWHERE, and he and his "sister" (whom we shall call Bee for now) start the first dance.

Klavier sorta knows the family, so he decided to come sing for Bee. (Remember the guitar lesson thing mentioned earlier?) So, he's there, and he sees Apollo, and is all "wut?" Apollo and Klavier talk for a bit, so you find out that Apollo was once in foster care, and he stayed with this family the longest. Klavier then goes backstage to get ready for his performance, and Bee follows him, and tells him a little bit about Apollo's singing lessons. At the last minute, Apollo is dragged on stage to sing with Klavier, and it turns out JUST fine.

(Let it also be known that friends of the family don't exactly know what to make of Apollo--they just sorta grin and bear him.)


I should...really consider writing a fic. Really, really consider.

I finally broke down and decided to post my fanfic idea on here for... er... constructive criticism?

Spoiler: Summary for Painted with Care
Three months after the Vera Misham case, Apollo thinks that things might finally be getting back to normal. He's had no court cases lately, so he's been rather bored, and having to entertain Trucy all day every day isn't quite his cup of tea. However, things take a turn for the worse right when Apollo isn't ready for it - Luke Atmey, a maniacal killer from one of Phoenix's old cases, escapes from jail - and kidnaps Vera Misham, hoping to force her to copy famous paintings so that he can sell them on the black market. His location, and Vera's with it, is unknown; the police are baffled; and Mr. Wright seems more reluctant to assist Apollo than ever. Apollo is forced to turn to an ex-thief, Ron DeLite, for help, but he'll have to do some slightly illegal things to get the man to trust him. What's a red-clad lawyer to do?
Vera/Apollo, obviously, along with some Trucy/Wocky.

He was crazy =P
And anyway, I doubt any of those guys would want forged paintings. Atmey seems like the type, or possibly DeLite, but for good reasons. Maybe Desiree would be sick and he needed the money to pay for her treatment. :eh?: It seems like a bit of an easy way out though. :yuusaku:

It looks pretty good. It looks like you've thought some of the details out, so I think you should go for it. Besides, it'll make up for me not doing anything.

Well, okay. Picture. There's this program called Vocaloid. It's basically a synth machine that uses typed words to produce said lyrics. The program has a special product that uses "Characters" as the actual machine...like...well here's a link that can explain it.

Anywho, KK did an Apollo Vocaloid based off Luka. <3

Man, things are getting kinda stale, considering we've probably exhausted almost every avenue of discussion we can concerning Apollo. I mean, what else can we do until something else is release?

Omigawd, To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favourite books of all time. For some reason, I always thought of the trial scene as being between Phoenix Wright and Winston Payne. I don't remember why, though...

I'm stumped for Boo, but something tells me Franziska would make a better Aunt Alexandra, personality-wise. She would totally try and make Trucy into a lady. I hope I'm remembering the characters right. I haven't read the book in a while... Pfff, Trucy in the ham costume FTW~

Not necessarily. (personally, I don't think Apollo is really the more intellectual of the three ;P) Maybe Phoenix and Mia just had reasons for waiting; maybe they started studying later... who knows?

As for the To Kill a Mockingbird idea, I'd suggest Viola for Boo. Everyone thinks she's crazy and eats people (I do, anyway). Though, considering Boo was a male... I'd highly suggest Terry Fawles. srsly.

I actually think it might be a rather nice apartment...if Polly came from an orphanage, they might have helped in paying for it. Or maybe his mom left some money behind. Or, maybe, if he was adopted, they helped with the rent and stuff. Or something.

I'm of the opinion that Apollo was brought up by an adoptive family, and has no idea that they aren't his real family. Machi is introduced as an orphan, and Case 3 reveals that Trucy is adopted. It would have been easy for the writers to throw in something like:
:odoroki:: (So Machi's an orphan/Trucy's really adopted? Just like me....)

Or something like that.

Just my opinion though.

It was a really good book actually! I thought it would be a lot worse, but it was a lot of fun!
Franziska would make a better Aunt Alexadra, thats true. She seems like she would be more into the family-imagine/line kinda thing.

Didn't Phoenix just wait until he got into college [or a little afterwards] when he decided he wanted to be a lawyer? Thats probably why. Apollo might have gone straight for it instead of waiting a year or so. Just a guess! xD

I kinda got bored because of lack of news, and the extremely little amount of effort Capcom is exerting to entice us busy types so I decided to wander off into Transformers-land. I got bored again, so I decided to check back.

EDIT: I'm trying to play the piano but my right fingers (my ring finger and my pinky, to be precise) play notes when I don't mean them too, and my left hand desperately tries to follow my right. :(

Are you just learning to play? If so, that makes sense, I guess...? A band teacher in middle school told me he could play almost any instrument except the piano because the two hands move in different rhythms. If not, then your hands just don't feel like complying with your mind at the moment.

...Now I wanna go play the piano. But it's too late for that at my house.

As far as falling back into fandoms goes...uh...well, when AA gives no news, I fall into D.N.Angel--LOOK IT UP PLZ. It's an amazing series with a strange premise, but don't let the premise fool you! Just look at my icon! So much HoYay! Just look at it's tropes page! Then again, I'm not sure I've ever really fallen out of the D.N.Angel fandom so much as changed the intensity of my obsession...as you can probably tell. Or Naruto. And I'm getting back into Harry Potter, despite the fact that no news will ever come out of that fandom.

I've had piano lessons for over four years, but that's not what I thought was the most difficult. You know, I never really play the left and right hand independently; I see were they cross each other and... gah this is hard to describe. But hang in there, you're only just beginning! :)

I...think...maybe...I get what you're trying to say. Maybe. Like, when notes meant for the right hand cross into the bass cleft and the left hand is closer and more convenient than the right, you play it with the left hand? Am I getting this right?

(Oh, and there's a thread somewhere else in the Hydeout that basically says that Klavier is, canonically, gay. It's "My Boyfriend is the Prosecutor's Witness" or whatever *doesn't remember the title*.)

Nonononono not at all, stick to the notes you have!
I mean just, um, that my two hands can't move independently. I look for "places" in the notes where I have to press down fingers on both hands at the same time. Well, I guess that means that they *do* move independently but...maybe I'm just really bad at coordinating my hands haha
