Is it worth buying the UK version of Apollo Justice over the US one? Are there some typos fixed in the UK edition or is it the same?
I was wondering which to purchase, and of course the US version is about £10 cheaper :)

I think its always cheaper to imort. I imported the first 3 games from japan for $20 each, when they actually cost $30 here.

Anyway I heard something like this and they were sayin there wasnt a difference. But thats only what I heard. Id import because its definitely cheaper

Well, I got the English version, for two reasons.
1). BRITISH PRIDE!!!!! :gant-clap2:
2). its a lot easier to buy it here, and you'd have to wait if you imported it

...Someone doesn't know about the Pound. XD

------> £ <------ 'Tis this thing! :D

I've had the US version since February and got the UK version recently.

THEY ARE IDENTICAL.

Still, you should buy a UK copy to keep the sales figures accurate, rather than over-inflating the series' popularity in North America. Make sure they continue to release the games in your country and buy a native copy! :D
Does we even do these things anymore?

I'd personally support my country's sales, but that's your choice. Especially when T&T isn't out by you guys yet. There isn't much difference.

Does the UK use pounds or Euros?

Get the UK version, it might have more languages (American ones only have english) and companies seem to never think of Europe. It's always good to support your contries sales so more are likly to show up there. The only time I've imported is when a game hasn't come out in America or something like that.

Though it might be cheaper to import, especially since we Americans have had it longer (so the price may have dropped).

T&T isn't out in Europe though, so maybe you should import an American one if you don't have that.

Buy in the UK. If you do that it will boost sales figures and T&T/GK are more likely to be released here.

I forgot about GK. That's in a dangerous place for Europe because it's much easier to get away with not bringing a spinoff to Europe than it is to skip out on a title in the main series.

What's GK?
I have a £10 Woolworths card so may buy the UK version if I can find it cheap(ish) :)
Capcom not releasing T&T over here is insane, even if I already have the US edition. People who didnt play it before AJ will be going "Eh?"

Even if it's £10 cheaper for the American import, have you checked the shipping price? Being that I live in America I don't know what the cost is to import from here, but I know here ordering from any country besides ones that do a lot of manufacturing for us (i.e. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan etc) is horrendously expensive, so in the end it might be cheaper to buy from the UK. Plus I think getting a copy with a bunch of different languages would be cool anyway.

Just to avoid confusion £10 is aroun $20. The shipping from sites like play-asia is usually only £2 or so, so you realy are saving quite alot of money (I live in Australia and saved around $40 by importing it).

Thanks for the clarification about what GK is :)
Well I sometimes order my DS games from Movietyme, and the shipping at most is £1 or something like that (it can be free as well).

I've just started AJ - its so damned addictive, I feel like I played loads even though I'm still on Case 1. Phoenix seems a bit.. different.

Since it's been revived, I may as well answer the questions.

1: The British use GBP (£), not Euros.
2: The UK version of Apollo Justice, unlike previous AA installments in Europe, does not have an alternate language option.
3: There's recently been a shaky confirmation of T&T being released in Europe soon. I know I'm going to wait patiently and support European sales. I may even go as far as bugging people at College taking Law to go and buy it.

I got me my Australian Copy. I was devastated when their was no different languages (at least the mic is more sensitive you you can just breath heavily and make a noise (different languaged objections for the win))
Australia is pretty ludicrous in the video game department. It costs us 70AUD (about 65 or so USD) for AA games. Import shops charge about that. My Australian pride (and I'm not allowed to import yet) makes me wait for the games...interestingly we don't get it before the UK like most games (the first game took an additional year after the UK release to come to Australia)

The only difference between the versions is the case and in the old games more language versions. Everything else is the same (I believe)

I did the same. Bundled T&T and Aj together and got both for the price I would pay for one over here :S I'm importing every PW game from now onwards, you get them quicker and cheaper, what's not to love? Except I end up lending them to a bunch of friends since they're probably not going to be here for quite a while...
On a side note why are the American cases so much harder to open than the ones we get in Aus >.>

Yes I noticed that too.
The US cases are much harder to open that the EU / AU / JP cases.
Why do they even have to be different in the first place?
