It is a static sprites dump, each file is named A_B.png where A is the number of the animation and B is the map number (not necessarily the frame number) in the animation.
I will do a gif dump too, and fix the issue with some sprites. But it should be enough for you all to play with... ;)
I still haven't found how to get the palettes from the file, so I add to extract each anim by specifiying the palette myself (not so tedious since there's only 250 of them, but still...).
My first objective right now is not those sprites. However if you have some specific wanted sprites, I could do it. Just ask ;)
