That there wasn't enough scientific investigation or Percieve moments? I'm replaying the game right now, and I forgot how much they could have actually put in.

Meh, I dunno. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I would have loved more touchscreen stuff. :/

Yeah I guess, but considering that it was their first real full GS game on the Ds, I liked it...
I just wanted to fingerprint more people and stuff XD

It would of been cool for me to have a section of the case where you have to like, go around convincing the people in the case to let you fingerprint them haha.

Oh, I'm not doubting that it's a good game. Quite the opposite, actually. <_<

But I dunno, I hope the next one has a lot of this stuff. I did actually like footprint stuff.

Haha I know, I was just making an excuse for them XD

I liked all of the minigames...
Like the thing in 4-4, when you read the letter...
Though I didn't like how in 4-1 you go to arrange the room, and then never did that again.
It was kinda of pointless to introduce it XD

Especially since the "Crime Recreation Mode" was a big thing on the box. :sadshoe:

I did not like how each case had its own gimmick that never got used again. 1 - the crime recreation thingy. 2 - fingerprints and footprints. 3 - the sound board. 4 - X-ray spectrography. All of these could have been used more.
I could do without any more Perceives though. :\

Hear, hear.

I loved the investigation stuff. I think they were pretty well made. But more of a good thing is better. :D

Perceiving in itself is a huge logic jump... I wish we could fast forward/backward...

I thought Percieve was kinda fun, but the system could use some tweaking. Like Litral said, fast-forwarding/rewinding would be great since sitting through their speech is sorta boring.

Actually, the Crime Recreation thing was used twice. Once in the first case, then again in the second case.

Personally, I'm not too fond of most of the special investigation stuff, and it would probably be more suited to, like, a special detective game starring Ema or maybe Perfect Prosecutor. To be frank, trying to use most of that stuff again would just get old, considering there were only four cases. Also, it makes little sense. Usually, it's the police that take the stuff and get it tested for whatever, then the prosecution presents it in court.

The only thing I would like, is more free use of stuff like Luminol. That was fun in the first game. But it would be cooler if, like in real life, you had to turn the lights out before you could see any of the blood that had been wiped away.

Another thing I wanna see is a different kind of case. Murder cases are getting kinda old now. :/

The crime scene recreation was probably used in the cases as another way to create contradictions without characters like Phoenix explicitly saying "Kristoph was lying 'cause the window would've been blocked by the moveable wardrobe..." or something like that.

As for the comments with regards to perceive system, I agree with needing a rewind/fast forward and more testimonies to have more perceives. As Apollo cannot/does not use the Magatama, maybe perceive could be used during the investigation phases somehow...???
As the perceive system pretty much passes as psyche-locks during trials.

I don't mind the science mini-games only being used once in each trial. Would you want to do the same mini-game over and over and over again? And don't forget that the mixing board and x-ray spectromowhatever could only have been used in 4-3 and 4-4, since only 4-3 had a song and only 4-4 had paintings.

GS5 should have: (1) More perceives; more is better. (2) Less obvious perceives; I don't mean it's harder to tell where the tic is, but which statement it's in. When they amend their testimony and all of a sudden the bracelet acts up, it's a bit too obvious.... (3) More tics; Alita was the only one with two tics. It was boring whenever you had perceive someone twice, because you didn't need to spend any more time looking for the tic. (4) And investigation system. I don't care whether you do perceives during the investigation or something entirely new, but Apollo needs something to spice up investigations. (Although enough science mini-games would work too :sassy: )

I think there were enough scientific investigations throughout the game ^_^

But there should have been more perceive moments.
I mean, in the final case, "7 years ago", I'm pretty sure Phoenix uses the magatama way more times than Apollo using the bracelet...
There should have been some better habits - especially with Brussel's 'sweating' habit... that was just stupid....

They were only, like, seven or eight perceive moments. I wanted MOAR!
And the scientific minigames were enough. I loved the footprints one.

The investigating science -related things scientifically was fun <3
I also like what the did with the past-future stuff, and of course,
Spoiler:
bringing back psycho locks
, but still. They could have put something like figerprinting back in! XD

They probably do that because that makes the stakes as high as they can go, short of wading into territory that would make for an M rated game.

Rape can be a capital offense in some places IIRC, but you can't exactly but a rape case in a game that's family friendly.

Then again, the case where you were defending a supposed thief in T&T was somewhat interesting.

I don't have too much of a problem with the lack of scientific investigations - more would be cool, but it's not too bad a ratio - I have a problem with the fact you pretty much never do the same kind twice...the art-radar, it makes sense, but the footprints and fingerprinting could have been used much more than they were.
