the brilliant green (one of my personal favourite bands) doesn't have a drummer - just the vocalist, bassist, and lead guitarist...but they use drums plenty.
Shonen Knife was the same way for a time (only they only had two members, who did guitar/vocal and bass/vocal), after their first drummer died. (Though their current drummer was de facto the permanent drummer even before she was so in name.)
Nine Inch Nails is just Trent Reznor, though he has other musicians backing him for live performances.
Gorillaz is Damon Albarn, and whoever happens to be working with him on a given album.

Klavier says that during Lamiror's song there were 5 people on stage, Lamiror, Machi, Klavier, a drummer and a bassist.
Therefore, it is entirely possible that the drummer and bassist are actually members of the Gavviners. It's just that their identities aren't relevant to the case.
