I've poked around on here and can't see this mentioned but may be mistaken (if so please point mne in the right direction).

It's just pre-research for a story I'm sketching out really - I would like to know a couple of things about Phoenix as he is in GS4. Namely:

1) what's in the locket he wears round his neck in the artwork I've seen?
2) who gave him the toque and the badge? (if this is mentioned at all, it may not be).

I haven't played the game - please don't worry about spoilering me though, I know what I'm getting in to :)

Ta!

1) A picture of Minuki.

Spoiler: How he got it
He stole it from her biological father. It's hard to know exactly why, because they kind of gloss over it, but I suspect it was a "She's MY daughter now, biyaaaaatch!" kind of moment. The dude was an asshole anyway.

2) Minuki gave him the hat. I think.... I'm pretty sure, anyway.

Ema gave him the button.

Spoiler: About the button...
The :O badge is actually a tiny spy camera that Ema gave him to help in his investigations.
