I would imagine Maya is fully into her role as the head of the Fey Clan now, probably training a new generation in channeling spirits.

To be honest, I have no interest in seeing Maya again. Pearl all grown up would be really cute, though. But if either of them show up, I hope it's as a random witness--more than just a cameo, but not another Kurain-related case. I'm sick of defending Feys. Their family polotics have been beaten into the ground by now.

Anyway, as I've said before, I wouldn't mind if characters from the 3 Phoenix Games show back up in AJ's games, but only if they can help build his plot, not drag him farther down into Phoenix's.

Nevertheless, I agree with Croik--I'd rather not see them again because a good chunk of Nick's arc was devoted to them. This is Apollo's game arc--just because Phoenix appears in it doesn't mean that the whole bloody entourage has to come with him...geez.

I still don't see how there is any question of where the Feys are and what they're doing. Obviously they're in Kurain doing spirit-medium things. Not that I'm against some mention, it just doesn't seem entirely necessary to me.
Though it would be kind of fun if Phoenix and Trucy left for a while (taking a trip to Kurain or something) leaving Apollo to handle a case alone. I would like to see him bulk up his circle of friends. It'd be nice for him to have more of a social life than Phoenix did.

Phoenix gets disbarred which forces both Phoenix and Maya to quit their jobs. (Maya WAS his assistant for most of the Phoenix arc)
Since Maya has an obligation of being the master of Kurain Village she stays there from now on.
Phoenix ends up being a hobo now and possibly hasn't seen Maya in ages.

Maaajorly hoping for this. Especially if they write it in a way that shows Phoenix really does still care about his friends, as deeply as years ago. Just a subtle nod like that would make the older fans 'very' happy.
Problem is, it doesn't seem like Hobo to just do that. It'd take some kind of event or catastrophe to motivate him. And then we're out of subtle territory.

Oh man, that is exactly what I would HATE to see happen! Maya in trouble AGAIN!? It was already getting old by 2-4, and by T&T my eyes were rolling out of my head. Please, no more Feys on the stand.
I think we have a slightly better chance of seeing Edgeworth at some point than the Feys, if only because he's been the fan favorite since the series began. All of Capcom's character polls confirmed it! Maybe they'll save it for GS6.

Um, thats how it seems to a lot of people actually ^_^;; Some people believe that Maya wouldn't have left Nick in the Lurch, which means they think that the Writers don't care about the past characters. But I really doubt that they'd create a new protragonists without planning for later titles. But thats for a different topic entriely.

That's just not true. In 4-2 Phoenix does mention her, in a way that indicates he had talked to her as recently as the night before. Just because Maya and Pearl aren't involved in Apollo's cases doesn't mean they have no contact with Phoenix what-so-ever anymore.
