I'm a little confused. In Case 4-2, Trucy explains that the reason Phoenix has never lost at poker is because she helps him out by spotting the tells on the player's faces and letting him know.

How does that work? Wouldn't the other players get suspicious if he had someone nearby him at all times and suspect Trucy of helping him? Or does Phoenix only play really stupid card players? What's the secret?

:hobohodo: Why hello there roughneck poker players! Would you mind terribly if my cute daughter sits by me to watch our high stakes power game?

:zenitora: Why of course! I'm sure such an adorable little angel would never do something as underhand as helping you win.

Well, if I remember what I've read correctly, she also states that they don't do it all the time and that Phoenix is naturally good at poker.
Spoiler: Not sure if this is one but being safe
]He did beat Zakku seven years before and of course we know Phoenix's specialty is bluffing :edgy: .
During the really big matches, I'm not sure its that big a stretch for Phoenix to say "Listen my little girl really likes to watch me play. Do you mind?" Or since he is a single parent he could point out that he needs to watch her. I can't see most people being really suspicious about a little girl wanting to watch her daddy play.

The Magatama wouldn't help him in that situation... The magatama doesn't work that way. It only spots quickly-hidden lies, and plus, you have to ask the right question to even TRIGGER the thing... Anyway, I agree with everyone here... I'm sure they don't mind a "little" girl who just wants to watch... She's so cute anyway.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

:hobohodo: I thought as much.
