What? Are they trying to do the same as the first game now? Very, VERY lame indeed.

Actually, going back to the series' roots doesn't seem like a bad thing. After all, too much of a good thing can ruin anything.

But..but... I had so much fun presenting everyone's profiles to everyone to see what they thought of them! You can uncover lots of golden lines if you take the time. Nuuuu they can't take that away from meeeee~ :accordion-head: Althought I guess they already did.. :sadshoe:

I don't think it's lame at all, they're doing it for difficulty reasons and it should be back in GS5. I dunno, it seems like people are nitpicking now. XD

Also, we've already got a topic about this somewhere, so this is a bit superfluous. :)

Doesn't matter....
The first game was harder becose you couldn't present profiles...
Oh well...
Gerkuman wrote:

Or, they could have "improven" this. You can use profiles in court (etc.) but you can contradict things also with evidence (dah?!)
So...presenting profiles is easier way to beat the game and finding the contradictions is harder...YAY! Two game modes! ^_^

Actually, when the profiles were added it gave you more chances to get it wrong, thus making it harder. Also, you misquoted me, the dunno bit was talking about people nitpicking; I'm sure the profiles will return.

Like I said before, it's has the same feel of 1-5.

That nagging pull of being able to view profiles but not present them. Ugh....I'm not sure I want to go through with this one. :nick:

Man, I liked presenting profiles. They usually brought the biggest laughs.

If they REALLY want to go back to the roots, get rid of those durned Psyche-Locks. Those things always make me cringe when they pop up. Too much pressure, dangit!

I thought presenting the profiles was great, especially to the more crazy characters out there. I swear in T&T that Larry was hitting on Pearl when you showed him her profile. Either he's desperate, or he's got a very sick mind.

It really was a matter of reducing the number of things to present to lower the difficulty - the creators admitted that they wanted a GS1-type game to help draw new people to the franchies. Profiles will probably be back for GS5.

While I loved profiles OUT of court... Gah, thank god they aren't in court. Maybe I'm just silly, but... sometimes it was a piece of evidence OR a profile that would work... and trying both kinda sucked ;_;

Also, can you do GS1 type ones; like multiple choice? Those were OK.

They did manage to make some of the court phases harder in other ways. There are a lot of instances where you press a statement, and then have the option of asking about 3 different things pertaining to the statement. Then you can choose to add one of those three things to the testimoy. You really have to be careful sometimes about which things are most relevant to the case.

Wait what?

If you choose a certain part that can be added, is there a chance of choosing the wrong one? As in, will only one of the three be the right one to add? Or will you be able to get further in the game with either one, just using different evidence?

(Sorry if I sound confusing... @_@')

Yes, sometimes you end up picking the wrong part to add to the testimony. Then you have to go back, re-press, and pick something else. Draws the testimonies out a bit longer.
