The game's released and for a few lucky ones of us, we already have our copies from the shop, and to those I pose this question;

Was the first case challenging for you?

I personally found m'self a little lost on occasion, having to double check evidence and actually think carefully, It wasn't hard but it was a little bit to tackle, I'm only half-way before my DS power cut (I'm at college, no chance to charge here D: )

So as the question was posed, was it challenging for you? please do not present any spoilers just inform us if you found it challanging and a brief reason as to why, as I did above

I was wondering about a few things earlier than they were brought up - sort of a Hotel Dusk thing... GET IT ALREADY KYLE GET IT IN YOUR HEAD

But nothing serious. Really interesting intro and challenging for once. I wasn't sure how difficult the next contradiction would be all throughout the trial, but I'd say it's good not to start playing it expecting an intro case. It's a full-fledged GS case that requires you to put yourself in the scenario about as much as 3-5 did (while 4-1 isn't half as epic, of course)

Apollo is so easy to warm up to. And he's got guts, lemme tell you that...

I dunno I'm still not too fond of Ordorki/Apollo... I'm not sure what it is... maybe cause he looks so young... No idea... We'll see if i warm up to him as i progress through the game...
Glad to hear i wasn't the only one that found the first case a little challenging

Spoiler: Found after cross-examining Olga on the Full House
Apollo: (Focus, Justice! Time to take advantage of her!

Notice how short he is? He's about as tall as Ema, also a bit scrawnier looking, which is probably why he looks so young.

:DDDDD A challenging first case? It's coming to my house tomorrow, so I can't wait! Snow is also falling, so there may be a free day to play it too!

He is only 22 according to the little pamphlet the game box had :B~ And Trucy is only 15 (younger than Maya was when she was in 1-2 actually XD)

It is challenging. Apparently it isn't as short as the others either. You get to save in the middle of the first case and then go back into court. So yes- this is definitely one of the longer tutorial cases x3

I know Trucy is only 15, so she's probably still growing. Hopefully.

22 and 24 aren't big differences in age, only by two years. Men should have probably been past their puberty stages by then. Phoenix himself hadn't grown since the time he was still in college and met Dahlia, to his days in the courtroom. I think Apollo was just born a shorty, always a shorty. Well, I guess he isn't THAT short, but it's unbelievable

Spoiler: big spoiler for ending of 4-1 seriously BIG
He had the scurge to punch Phoenix who is obviously more muscular and taller than him. At least he does punch though, Phoenix was (and is) the only one who doesn't fight back.

I wonder if anyone makes fun of his shortness. I'll just have to see what Klavier has to say.

Hmm...I think GS4 is the easiest one by far, especially the first trail (because Nick is guiding us all the time...囧),but it I will take it as the best tutorial chapter personally. Love it.

I thought it was pretty tough. But I did get through it without having to do the save/restart trick or use a guide.

I thought it was a bit boring (at least the later parts), but it was great early on.

"Uh, we know you're not Russian!"

One thing I like: The lifebar apparently refills during recesses again!

Imo, the case seems a bit tougher. Not so much of figuring out what to do next, but when to show evidence. I mean, several times I knew what item I should show, but when to show it.

Spoiler: picture in locket
Also, did anyone notice that they changed the picture of Trucey in the locket? Although I haven't played the japanese version, I usually look at the cutscenes photos of a case from the AA games on this site after I beat said episode in the english version to compare. With that said, I glanced at the locket pic on this site and realized that the pic used here is of the older standard one, while the american version has Trucey as she is a child.

The american version, imo, makes more sense, seeing...
Spoiler: for those who already accidently read the spoilers inthe japanese version
how Trucey is the biological daughter of Shandi. I mean, it would make sense if her biological father had a picture of her as a child as oppose to her being 15.

It was a good case. Alittle anoyance is that I can no longer present profiles. Just seems like a step back.

Oh I LOVED it! I went into this game with a huge amount of trepidation, and a lot of Apollo-hatred (where I got that from I DO NOT KNOW) but I lay in bed grinning at my DS like a mong.

Oooohhh I noticed something, I can't remember the specific wording but it went along the lines of

Spoiler:
Phoenix: Someone taught me about it (the Perceive system)
Apollo: What! I'm not Worthy!

PLEASE be intentional!

I'm now trying to ration the game somewhat as it's probably some time before we get our mitts on GS5 :igarashi:

I got GS4 yesterday and finshed case 4-1 on this bus this morning! XD I love Apollo! <3 :redd: But there sure is a bunch of Apollo hate in the air...*COUGH* He has so many quotable quotes it's not even funny. Olga looked like a pirate...I wasn't sure how to pronounce her name at first. But I don't like Phoenix near as much as I use to...But he so redeemed himself with the "You should say TAKE THAT" bit at the end in the defendent's lobby. I didn't find it hard, per se...However, it caught me for a second when they asked about were the killer was standing. I forget to think outside of the box...But then I thought "HELLO, this IS PW, after all!!"

When I got it at my neighborhood Game Stop yesterday, there was a nice girl who worked there and she pre-ordered GS4, too. I like the Apollo keychain thingy that came with it. I'd so wear it on my neclace, but it looked like he was pointing down my shirt when I tried that so he resides on my purse's zipper. XD :yuusaku:

Not sure what I think about Phoenix forging evidence, though. It seems to go a bit beyond what he did at the end of 3-3.

Yeah, there were early signs that Phoenix was going to the darker side in game 3. With 3-3, mostly...And there's sort of a plot hole with that case, anyways. Well, with the way he "won". :zenitora:

I'm really loving this game, too. The first case was such a curveball. I told myself I wasn't going to look up spoilers this time, but I may break that bit anyways... :edgy: The only thing is that I really miss the characters from the last three games...Edgeworth and Larry and Maya. *sigh* And the old, cool Phoenix. Hobo Feenie is like a totally differant character, in my book. :sadshoe:
