I have to say, of all my assistants, Trucy/Minuki is my favorite by far. She's bouncy, cute, and clever. AND SHE DOES MAGIX.

But to add more to the whole thing, I don't know much about Trucy to have an opinion of her yet. However, I have a feeling I'll like her ^_^ We'll have to see when the game arrives through my front door.

I gotta say, I do find her really adorable, she's quickly rising her way up to my favorite characters list. As cute as she is, her theme just makes her even more cute! I looooooooove her theme! I also loved one line she said in case 2 (non-spoiler of course): "People come to see me for my panties." I just loled.

I'm probably not the only one to notice this, but when you ask her where to start on, say the second day of a case, she'll show you two items linking to people, and that struck me as useful. Not at first, but it did the second time. Not sure if its "Spoiler" material or not, but better safe than sorry.

I'm liking Trucy way more than Maya. To me, Maya just seemed kind of stupid sometimes - like, you'd examine something and she'd say something really immature/dumb. Trucy, despite being younger than Maya, has far fewer moments of immaturity, and for that I'm grateful.

Trucy is a lot funnier/more entertaining than Maya was, and this is coming from someone who actually liked Maya. My only fault with Trucy so far (I just started case 4-3) is that she drinks a glass of milk for breakfast. What ever happened to girls who liked real food, like burgers? OM NOM NOM

Her relationship with Phoenix is cute, IMO, and I'm not sure why Apollo is so suspicious. She gets along with Phoenix really well, but I can't imagine anything "Shadi" happening there :P

Yes, Trucy is funny, helpful, cute, clever... I should stop, this is already sounding like a list of what someone would look for in a girlfriend >.>

I think he's more suspicious about the fact that Phoenix is a bit young to have a biological daughter who is fifteen (he would only have been like eighteen at the time she was born then and while that's not impossible, it is more than a little unlikely considering everyone in 4-1 is shocked to hear Phoenix even has a daughter). He comments on how Trucy seems a bit old to be Phoenix's daughter right at the beginning of 4-2 and may do so again at a couple other times before we find out she's adopted in 4-3. In 4-3, Trucy confesses that she never brought up that Phoenix is not her biological father because there didn't seem to be a point as her other father is gone and all of Apollo's suspicious comments disappear now that everything makes more sense.

I love their father and daughter relationship so much. There are so many cute scenes (and if you examine certain things during the cases, Trucy will talk about various cute and funny family moments).

I LOVE Trucy!!!! Seriously, I wish she were my daughter!

Maya, to me, felt like an annoying kid sister that I wanted to beat up or put a tarantula down her robe (except I'd feel bad for the poor tarantula!), but Trucy feels more like a little girl that I would love to have as a daughter.

I loved her ferris wheel story from 4-3. Someone needs to do fanart of that moment, stat.

I'm finding Trucy to be a lot more tolerable than Maya, or even Pearls (and I love those two characters). At least she's helpful. Before I picked up the game I was afraid that she was going to be boring, or a rehash of Maya, but she's quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.

You have no idea how much I would love to see a drawing of the ferris wheel story. It's just adorable (I felt bad for Phoenix though. Its hard to be a daddy). There was another story during 4-3 when you examine a mirror in the Gavineers dressing room and Trucy sees some lipstick. She comments how she wishes she could wear lipstick and when Apollo is surprised to hear this, Trucy responds that Phoenix told her she could wear lipstick when he learned to play the piano... Apollo tells her that she may be waiting awhile. I can just see these scenes happening in my mind. And following that side note, I actually quite like Ema also, but I won't go further on that topic as this thread is about the cuteness that is Trucy.

...Okay, I know this thread is devoted to Trucy, but we're now into one of my favorite aspects of the game and I can't resist posting some cute family pics of Phoenix and Trucy. I'll post a few and then I'll behave myself again.

!!! CUTENESS INCARNATE. Mia_Fey, you win. At everything. That last picture with little Trucy and (presumably Phoenix) pulling a blanket over her is...is...I'm shocked into speechlessness by the pure adorable.

In regards to the Trucy/Maya debate, I personally think they're both great. I actually preferred that Maya didn't really seem to know it all already, but that she tried to help out even if she rarely did. She was still really fun to watch, and great comic relief. I really do like Trucy, though, and I actually like Trucy more now than I liked Maya at the end of AA1.

On a related note, does anyone else think that Nick, Maya, Pearl, and Trucy together would have made the most awesome house ever? That would have been really, really fun to see. Nick and Maya trying to keep everything from spiraling out of control (and 26-year old Maya the voice of reason? Gasp!) with Trucy and the one-year-her-elder Pearl gossiping and embarrassing Phoenix? That would have been so awesome.
