I couldn't stand this guy even for a minute.@K2J: You have to remember- Ema is a bit touchy.
That doesn't mean she doesn't care for justice. She's always been very scientific in her conclusions and even agreed with the idea that she could have possibly killed Jake Marshall in 1-5. Sometimes she thinks out of the box, but that itself is rare.

She was basically Dahlia, except she lacked most of what made Dahlia awesome and I didn't like her character design. And she was far too predictable. ...in fact, she may be the only character I didn't like.

Uggh, I could tell I wasn't gonna like her before I even played the game.. =_= She was so annoying in the beginning, and got even worse by the end of the game.

She wasn't a bad character that Capcom created, but still, there were better witnesses. I can't really say anything off hand at the very moment because I can't remember all the details of that case at the moment. <.< Damn short-term memory.

I vote for Stickler. Waiting for his book closing animation was annoying, and his prattling just wasn't as endearing as Oldbag's was. Of course, he became INSTANT HILARITY when you found out what his crime was (and why he did it!)

Stickler was a great character with an ANNOYING flaw. STOP WITH THE BLOODY BOOK! Then again, I hate any character whose animation interferes with me getting to the actual text (Stickler, Yogi, Wellington, etc.), particularly first-run, since there's no option to adjust the text speed from the start.
Valant bugged me somewhat. For whatever reason, I liked Young Valant better than Old Valant.
I didn't care for what they did with Ema's attitude. The Snackoos are funny, but they could have kept that without draining her of all positive emotion (except for "Ooh, science!" when you present her the opportunity to use a new toy.)
And Hobohodo... in discussing the character with my girlfriend (who didn't want to read into this game too much, having not finished T&T yet, but saw some of his text), we came to the conclusion that he's Dumbledore with a hobo hat. Wise mentor, you know he's on the side of good but his morals are shaky, always seems to know much more than he's letting on, usually to your detriment, hauls your ass out of the fire in the nick (haha) of time with a big spell/piece of evidence... there's really no other explanation for the character. On the flip side, I LOVED his characterization in his final case. It felt like he had finally come into his own, and had a command of the courtroom that no defense attorney's ever been given in this series... until you get railroaded. DAMN, it was hard convincing myself to present that page.

He's German, right? ...That makes three German prosecutors, and the worst one so far. Not only is he a rock star, but he's pretty whiny when he puts his mind to it...It's just so strange. I don't think that's how a prosecutor should act.
Actually, the cast of 4-2 was possibly, in my opinion, one of the best casts of the entire series. Except for Alita. She was just strange. Poor banana girl.
And...Why all the Brushel hate? I loved Bushel! I mean, he's certainly nothing to obsess over, but he's a really good guy. Smart, too.
Alright, sorry, I was getting off topic.

Not exactly. He was an art student at Ivy University, but his exact discipline was never explicitly stated. As it mentions on his character page, Shu Takumi implied he was studying to become an actor, while the character artist suggests he was studying to become a manga artist. The fact that any discrepancy exists is reason enough to believe it's not official either way, and until they write the specific into the storyline, it remains speculation.
Though I will say Feenie can be fairly convincing when he wants to be, so even if he had no formal acting training, he'd probably make a very good amateur actor anyway.
