imagine the final cross examination against kristoph gavin...

:garyuu: *kristoph pushes up his glasses and tenses hand*
:odoroki: *apollo puts bracelet up to eye and searches him*

:udgy: Judge: Mr. Justice...? Is something the matter with your bracelet?
:odoroki: Apollo: Huh? Oh...nothing...(whoops. looks like I better try a different approach...)
:garyuu: Kristoph: Is this a new technique of bluffing Wright taught you?

and then you see phoenix laughing in the background
:hobohodo: hehehe..little does he know I painted the edge of his bracelet with black paint....

*apollo has panda eyes*

anyway im sure you guys can think of funnier scenarios XD

OTZ...the panda eye is a good idea~*shot* but I don't think he need to watch the witness through the bracelet, he just feel s it and focus on the testimony.

GOTCHA!

Apollo Justice, whenever you closely examine a witness, you seem to fiddle with your bracelet. Why is that...? Do you have something to hide, perhaps?

However he looks, you'd think at some point a witness would accuse him of hiding drugs in his bracelet or something.

I wonder how you take it off if it fit tightly around you wrist?

You heat it up. Since it's made of temperature-sensitive material, heat makes molecules expand themselves, thus making stuff slightly bigger. On the same train of thought, if you felt it was a little loose and wanted it to fit tighter, you'd cool it down, to force the material to become smaller.

As it cut off your circulation and your wrist got colder, wouldn't it then contract and hurt your wrist, and then since there's no air getting in, it heats up, then expands, and then your blood will rush to your wrist, thus creating more heat and causing it to expand more?

I can't picture how that thing would reach equilibrium :yuusaku:

LOL, trust me, we don't need to know how, but the equilibrium is there. =p

I think at one point in Case 2 (maybe 3) Trucy says Apollo's eyes bug out when he uses Perceive :odoroki:

I have many yaoi OTPs which overlap... And most of which involve the Gavins.
I do write/support yuri and het from time to time though.

I dunno why but the animation made it look like Apollo held the bracelet up to his eye and he looked through it and that's what I thought the first two times he used it. Then I realised just how stupid that would look and figured it couldn't have been used that way.

Maybe there's a little hole at the top of the bracelet for him to look through, like with the Magatama. He could then pretend to be pointing at someone whiel using it :P

I'd say it's during case 2, when he first gets the hang of Perception and Trucy's somewhat explaining it to him.

This is how I see Apollo during a Perceive session. His eyes take on a bloodshot, red glaze because of the amount of blood flooding into his eyes to let him focus. The bracelet doesn't move at all; he simply pays more attention to it than normal with it on his wrist.

The in-game animation represents his eyesight and his focus on the bracelet merging into one stream of consciousness. Very little of the "special effects" in Ace Attorney can be taken literally.
Does we even do these things anymore?

Seriously, that would be freaking epic if a prosecutor caught on to that and used it somehow against AJ.

Following my Japanese fanart listing faithfully, a lot of these artists seem to interpret it as Apollo gaining passionate eyes burning red red glowing, somewhat bloodshot, eyes... Whilst he doesn't remove his bracelet per se, but rather he clutches on to it to assist in his ability in my own theory. The animation usually seen through the bracelet is just for show, but rather how he sees the world within that state is accurate all screwed up and trippy with his red eyes.

No, he justs focuses and the Bracelet fitting in the eye when you catch the habit is just a special effect, Apollo can Percieve without focusing too much, he can just look and see it. It's the ability that the Bracelet gives him, it's not a telescope!

He talked about how the bracelet reacted to the wearer's tension and body temperature, and how this worked with people who had that innate ability. There wasn't really any "looking through" anything, it was just a subconscious feeling that the bracelet made more noticeable.

Well here, I found one fanart through my many lists. (that I believe there's also one here for an example in CR's fanart archives)

Basically if you don't under the stip as obvious as it already comes off as... Apollo basically gets in a fit that the last pudding ice cream whatevertheheckthatis piece of dessert is gone; assumingly eaten. He then confronts Nick accusing that he could have possibly eaten it. It was then he notices the cup used for the dessert on the table near Nick and then almost about goes Minukuapeshit on him.

lawl, I doubt that's how he uses it at all. When I first got to that perceive business, I instantly though "Sharingan?" when the eye graphic popped up. Before you'll know it, he'll get Mangekyou perception, and l337 genjutsu.

Yeah, I'd start getting a tad nervous and twitchy too if the defense was literally staring a hole through me. Bug eyes and all...
