So what's the deal with this envelope? I don't understand why it doesn't have Kristoph's name on it. Then again, none of the major mysteries are explained in AJ. -_- But it couldn't have been sent to anyone else, right?

And why would Drew use the commemorative stamp after all that time? And I'm sure Vera has bitten her nails a lot before case 4.

It doesn't have Kristoph's name on it because he clearly gave them a fake name when ordering the forgery. It would have been very bad for him if it came out that he ordered the forgery and he went to great lengths to cover all that up.

Vera kept the stamp, not Drew. She knew it was sent by the client that she had gotten along with so well and thought it was a gift for her, so she took it.

For her to be poisoned by biting her nails, she had to be wearing the nail polish which she states that she only wore when she went out and she only went out once after getting it as far as we know. If she hadn't been really frightened or pressured by anything (which is less likely to happen in a museum about the magic act she's so found of), then she wouldn't have bitten her nails and ingested the poison.

Drew probably simply didn't have any other stamps to use, and simply used that one. Even though he's not supposed to touch it. He must've been in a hurry to get it delivered, maybe the mailman was bound to come anytime.

THe odd thing is why did he take 7 yrs to reply to the message or did he use that stamp for a different message ??

They covered that. Vera took the stamp because she thought it had been sent as a present for her and put it on her desk. The original reply was sent seven years before with a different stamp. When Drew was sending the letter to get Kristoph to leave Vera alone, he took the stamp off of Vera's desk since it was the only one in the studio and used it.

But what I found weird... is that... Wouldn't Vera know? I mean, she was there when he was taking the stamp and using it, right? Wouldn't she try to stop him?

Considering who and what he was writing to, I'd think he'd have done it when she wasn't in the room so she wouldn't notice. And as long as the picture frame remained tactfully out of view, she wouldn't have seen that her stamp had vanished.
