Really, how can you not LOVE these two? They're so cute! And I just love their chemistry with one another. In my eyes, they complement each other, mostly because..
1. Vera needs someone outgoing. If she dates someone shy, they'll never get anywhere in the relationship, and Vera needs someone who can help her get along in the outside world. Apollo, I think, is just outgoing enough. Wocky/Vera is alright, but Wocky's a little too brash.
2. They're just so CUTE!!!!!!
