Much more training you must take on. For the elusive Hard ROCK! difficulty will challenge your skills in ways that Breezin' or Cruisin' cannot compare to.

I bring breaking news in from the Ouendan site, since this is EBA and Ouendan news, I'll post it in both topics.

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/ao2j/

"From Jun 28 to July 11, you can goto any of the DS stations (Japan only) and download the agents from EBA. You can use them in either hard, or normal mode. In VS play, you can also use Agent J or the cat."

Although it's very possible somebody could make an AR code to unlock them, because this means they're in the game.

Not always, after all it would just paint the Agent's skins over the Ouedan characters, meaning they could have an inf. amount of downloadable character skins that they could add later.

Actually, Bass, they are in the game. When I was sound ripping, I found voice clips for the agents (and the cat.) Also, DS Download stations can't actually alter the game data, it can only add a bit to the save to unlock something already there.

It was over at GameFAQs. At the time, it just seemed like placeholders, and everyone over there pretty much agreed it wasn't anything.

Of course, people were wondering what went in those last two VS slots. :maya:

(Once the AR code hits the net, I will stop at nothing to get my friend's AR, if only for a day. My OTO2 file must be perfect! PERFECT! I SAY! :karma:)

Yeah...

Just last night I thought a of a story.

Here's my basic premise. J is hitting it big. Due for a promotion anytime now, and one of the most impressive mission runs for anyone in the agency, he's on top of the world. But, one day, a friend close to J, another agent, was killed in a car crash (Lucy's dad was an agent, There's no way she could have channeled the power of music if she hadn't learned a thing or two from Dad). J feels almost guilty for what happened, so he needs a little time off. Kahn has also given J the opportunity to find a new agent, considering that Kahn will be retiring some day, and once Chieftain becomes commander, J will be second in command. But, J needs some time to really think about his choices in life. Thus, J, Morris, and Derek take off to Japan (the Divas will cover their posts) to meet up with the Ouendan, where J and Ippongi have been friends for some time. Also, J meets Anna again, who was his girlfriend before she decided to travel to Japan to help start the Ouendan (I mean, come on, there is NO way in hell Anna is Japanese). The questions I want to answer are who is J really is, and what's the connection between the Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents.

I will tackle one mission in the story, where J and the crew watch Ippongi do his thing to help the boy in the Matsuri Shrine Race (Melody Scenario).

Thoughts?

Quick look at gamefaqs' Ouendan 2 message board reveals The code has been found

And it works. I tried it. Divas, Chieftain, Spin and J. Works in a similar way to Kahn mode (only there in the levels, not in cutscenes/etc.)

Problem. That really screws with the time line. because as of now, it goes Ouendan>Ouendan 2>EBA

This is because of the fact that ouendan 2 obviously comes after 1, but, we can see the guy from the first stage of both games in the new york subway. So, that must have been after he went to new york in ouendan 2.

Everyone with an Action Replay DS may now rejoice. The EBA code has been found. (for Ouendan 2, duh)

It was only the code, though, so only ROM users could use it.

BUT.

After some testing, I've found every code you need for your AR DS to get those awesome EBA.

Elementary, my dear Forever.

It actually makes perfect sense.

The Ouendan are the Elite Beat Agents in disguise. They simply switch dance routines to match the continent they're on.

But seriously (wait, that WAS serious...kind of >_>), the reason why the EBA are in Ouendan is because of EBA's booming success in Japan. Even non-import stores sell it.

It's pretty much all but confirmed, what with Yano's sly remarks at GDC.

Hell, the fact that Ouendan got a sequel shows they're willing to make an EBA one, since the first Ouendan didn't do that great in Japan. EBA didn't do that well in America, either, but by comparison it had better sales.

Actually, EBA sold ridiculous numbers. 130,000 in two months.

All I know is, E3 is July 11 - July 13, and they'll probably announce it there.

If it's anything like the OTO2 timetable, it could theoretically be out around... September 25th if it's been in production a while! Oh shit, Phoenix Wright 3 and EBA2 on one day? No, my poor wallet! :ack:

It's not bad, but that's not "ridiculous" by any means. Ouendan 2 has already sold over 150,000 copies, and it's been just over a month and in a smaller market.

I thought PW3 came out September 4th or something <.< , EBgames has one day and Gamecrazy has another.

Also (it doesn't affect you Bolt) Halo 3 comes out September 25th as well! :ack:

Oh and 100,000 sales is actually kinda pitiful if thats all you sell :nick:
