Picoult fans yeah! I haven't read that one, yet, but I think she's a fantastic author. It's on my to-read list.

Lately I've been blazing through Agatha Christie mysteries. They go fast, and they have such a charming old-timey British feel to them--chock-full of all kinds of snooping maids, disgraced nobility, and scheming governesses. It kind of reads like a game of Clue every time, but she's great at giving you all the information you need and still making it almost impossible to figure out the culprit. Way fun.

The only one I own is the Tick, Tock, You're Dead (At least that's what I think it's called) I've read it so many times that I've pretty much memorised the way to finish alive.

Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita is a masterpiece and you should read it.

(Then watch the 1997 movie, it's great.)

I'm almost done with Slaughterhouse Five, which is pretty awesome. It's an interesting blend of science fiction (there are aliens and time travelling) and anti-war propaganda (part of the book is set during WWII). The writing is witty as well. Expect the line "So it goes" to appear whenever something bad happens.

I think I will read The Picture of Dorian Gray after this, since I got it on my birthday and all.

I just finished Cell, by Stephen King. It was the first Stephen King novel I've ever read, and I'm convinced he's a genius.

Read The Stand next. It's my favorite Stephen King book, and the one that convinced me of his genius.

Anyone else a Jane Eyre fan? I know a lot of people hate it due to having it forced upon them at school, but it's pretty good as far as being cheesily romantic and occasionally downright silly goes.

I hate Pride and Prejudice, but only because we were made to read it in year 10, and again in year 12. Actually, I never finished re-reading it for year 12, I just watched the BBC movie version.

I remember reading that book but never got round to finishing it.

I've been reading Dark Calling by Darren Shan - it scared the hell out of my mum. I love the gory details.
Battle Royale novel is epic win.

Which one's that in the series again? 9th, is it? IMO, the ones that aren't from Grubb's viewpoint aren't as good as the ones that are.

Buuuut... I finished this good book called Surviving Antarctica: Reality TV 2083. It was good, and kinds of reminds me of the Hunger Games, but the ending was kind of disappointing though...

My favorite novel will always be 1984 by George Orwell. I was always fascinated with books and other stuff about totalitarianism.

Lately, I've come into a writer, who has a name Alexey Piehov. He's not widespread in bookshops, but I tell ya people - he is genious. I place his fantasy books and novels on one ranks with such writers's as Robert Asprin, Christopher Stasheff, Roger Zhelazny and Robert Shekley's.

Also, my friend gave me loads of books on comp. There're like 10000 books (over 9000, that's what I remember), not counting manga.

I've started rereading the Redwall saga again, and my mom read it. Or tried to read it. Molespeak is hard to understand. And it also reminds me that I have to make a list of good books. Also picked up Turnabout by Haddix just because the title is the word 'turnabout'. Like it so far.

Enjoy your many random sex scenes. I love Gaiman, but he can be a little weird.

I just picked up three enormous tomes full of the entire Sherlock Holmes canon with weirdly loving and detailed annotations. I read through all of Adventures and Memoirs, and now I'm working through the novels in order.

Mostly I got them because felt bad for loving the movie so much even though I had never read a Holmes story. Now I just feel bad for waiting so long. This stuff is just pure fun.

I find it hard to read if there are no pictures. This is why I love graphic novels. Speaking of graphic, I remember one thing. In this book about chocolate creation, that two African kids were fully naked, even showing their penis. THAT is how I learnt part of sex ed. so early. :gant:

Eww Twilight graphic novels, Edward Cullen is one of the most disgusting fictional characters of all time.

God Breaking Dawn is so hilarious. Stephenie Meyer is defiantly a witch on crack. Right now I'm reading Eragon.
