) My suspicion level dropped considerably, though, when I finally saw his expression change to neutral. Generally, you can trust a character if they actually drop the smile once in a while (even if it's not terribly often). So yeah, he's a cool guy. Helpful, polite, and always giving away free coupons! What's not to love?

Out of all the new characters in this game-minus maybe Kay and Lang,-he was the only character I really found myself liking. Wish he had some more animations though. I loved his serious one.^^
But was I the only one who thought he would be guilty? The other ambassador was hardly in the game, so it wouldn't be as interesting if he turned out to be the killer. I figured it would either be Ambassador Palaeno or both of them.@_@
So glad he turned out to be innocent, and I loved when he helped Edgeworth by stopping the guilty party from leaving.
At first, I couldn't help thinking his smile seemed a bit fake and over-the-top. But looking at it from a story perspective, like Edgeworth mentions at one point,-he's kinda the real victim in that case. On an important night, there were two fires and a theif in his embassy, his secretary-who turned out to be a smuggler, killer, and was just using him-was murdered, and he even got accused of the crime at one point. It was NOT a good day for him.@_@

But by Scooby-Doo logic, the killer is the character who is least-developed in the build-up to the climax before revealing their true motive.
I thought it was mighty suspicious that that character had gotten very little screen time, and starting suspecting that person was going to end up being the murderer even before they got a decent amount of screen-time.
I'm glad he's still around. In case of a potential sequel, Edgey's got to have connections and who better than an ambassador of a small European country? Can you say "tax haven?"

Anyway, I think he is so awesome. I thought he may be guilty, too, with the hands and the smile, but he is so innocent! He really is the victim in case 5. Fires, dead subordinate, smuggling under his nose, counterfeits without his knowing? Wow. And he still has that happy smile. lol
