California's overrated.

I miss going to the gas station without my mom complaining about how high the prices are, or my dad foolishly convincing himself that the prices will go down.

No, Ohio is worse. Much worse. I remember when I first moved here, everybody always asked why I moved here from California.

Sure, you may think that now, but move to the Midwest. That might change your mind.

I miss the backyard from the house I grew up in. It was this huge orchard with every kind of fruit tree you can imagine, and my dad helped me build a super-cool tree house in one of them. It was like my own adventure forest. I went back and visited a couple years ago, and it was really shocking how small it was. My giant enchanted forest was on less than an acre... :maggy: (Plus the guy who lives in the house now looks like a total slob, and he took down my treehouse! He doesn't deserve that place!)

I try not to miss too much else, because who's to tell you you can't get out some Play-Doh and pop in an old Pokemon tape? It's pretty much my mantra to live like I'm ten whenever possible.

Virginia has nice weather most of the time. But it does get really hot and really cold during summer and winter, but spring and fall here is beautiful. I've always lived here, so yeah...

I heard PA is cold all the time, so I kinda feel bad for you :( (Especially coming from CA)

More like the female counterpart of Red Rider BB guns. I wasn't allowed to have one because my mom saw on the news that they could spin into your face and poke your eye out. :sadshoe: I wanted one so bad.

I used to LOVE Sailor Moon when I was little. I still do actually, seeing as I bought the ENTIRE anime series on DVD for Christmas out of nostalgia... And I have the manga as well. The dolls were so ugly though.

I also had a ribbon baton...

Yeah, they discontinued them because of it. But it's so stupid, like, what are the odds of you poking your eye out with a Sky Dancer!? The only time I could think of would be putting your eye right up against the doll's wings as you try to launch her. Dumb reason to discontinue a toy... :\

nekonohime wrote:

Hmmm, that might've been it. All I know is that my mom used to have it when she was a kid and I think they brought it back for awhile...or something like that.

nekonohime wrote:

I got Spice World (the cd) when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade, so it was around '98-ish. I listened to it all the time too and my friends and I would make up our own dances. I also collected those Chupa Chups suckers with the Spice Girls on them. They came with stickers, so my friends and I would trade them and brag about how many and which ones we had kekeke XD They were delicious suckers too.

nekonohime wrote:

I still love it too. The show is beyond cheesy, but it's SO good :D
Ooooh, I wish I could get the entire series on DVD, I would go crazy!! My sister downloaded the first 2 seasons a couple of months ago and we watched them together. I need to finish rewatching them, as well as finishing the last season.
I have 4 old style six inch dolls of Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars, as well as 3 butt ugly 11 inch dolls of Princess Serenity, Emerald, and Black Lady. The newer styled dolls were a LOT better looking. I have 2 six inch ones of Moon and Mercury and a 11 inch one of Sailor Moon.
I could go on about my collection, but I don't want to bore anyone DX
